Liberals, we've tried it your way for going on 50 years now. You promised us nirvana and bliss if only we surrendered our liberty and our property to the government. What do we have to show for it? Record poverty, record unemployment, record home foreclosures, record misery, record debt and deficits, record food stamp usage, etc. Despite the abysmal results of liberals' give everything to the government fiscal policies, liberals not only demand that we continue their insane policies of giving everything to the ruling class to disperse as they see fit, but they rather boldly demand that we double down on their failed policies. We've tried it your way liberals. The only people who are befitting from these voodoo economics are the liberal ruling class and their cronies who have gotten richer than ever before while the rest of us continue to get poorer. How does giving everything to the government benefit anyone (let alone the poor) but those in the government? We give you our money so you can turn around and enrich yourselves and your cronies while patting yourself on the back for being caring and compassionate. At the same time you call us greedy for not wanting the give up more of the few scraps you let us keep? It seems to me liberals only want a return to feudalism where everyone works like a slave for the benefit of the ruling class, and the liberal overlords decide who gets to keep what? You say tax the rich. Seeing as the real rich are the ruling class, I agree.

Tax the politicians.
Tax the public sector unions.
Tax the welfare class.
Tax the crony corporations.
Tax the financial class.

Liberals are still sleep-walking, waiting for the Soviet dream to reignite.

Here's an equally troll-like comment that hopefully provides a little balance to this thread...

The "you can have it all" (low taxes AND government largesse) actions of conservatives haven't helped either.

Liberals don't like reality. They prefer to live in a dream world. See Obama's horse dung hope & change campaign that the good liberal sheeple swallowed hook, line, and sinker as a perfect example.

Liberals are like those animal hoarders. They simply cannot limit their "compassion" until it's too late and they're so deep in debt that there is no way out.

Their hearts just go on bleeding and bleeding. They want to make everything great for the helpless people and have a Robin Hood mentality along with it that to them justifies robbing anyone who has worked for a living.

For the same reason that many will not admit that the policies that proceded Obama were also a complete failure.

What Country are you talking about? In America we are slowly pulling out of a deep, deep recession with Centrist Economic policies. We could speed that up if there were help from the Right and Left, but til that happens, we must slog slowly.

Corporate profits? UP!

Corporate cash reserves? UP!

CEO salaries UP!

The self-Righteous simply ignore reality when it suits their agenda, even when it's the corporations they worship doing well.

Exactly how does this canned talking point response begin to address the fact that liberal economic policies are an abject failure?
