It is funny how ppl with no resources, no opportunities, no skills, no education, and no future act when faced with hopelessness. I'm guessing you never have been "THERE", I have.

There is a public/private power and energy system that is highly reliable. There is a communication network. There is a regulation system that set standards that protect them and their workers, etc., etc.

Yet, these people feel they did it all by themselves (and didn't even state what they actually do) and probably sit around and complain about taxes, that supported all the systems that helped make them a success.

Bill Gates Sr. used to say this: Suppose you were given the choice of being born in America or in Ethiopia. What proportion of your eventual fortune would you be willing to give to be born in America? Given the great good fortune of getting to live and run a business in this country that has all the advantages an advanced country with a decent system provides, how can you think it’s all you? And then, how can you feel you don’t have any obligation to pay it back?
Exactly. How can 47% of Americans think they don't have an obligation to pay it back? Everyone uses the roads, the canals, the court system, and the public power grid regardless of how much money they make. Fair is fair. It's time for these freeloaders to start paying their fair share.

They were born under a flag that affords them every opportunity to succeed. I propose a "born under the American flag tax."

They do pay it back, EVERY TIME THEY BUY GAS they pay the federal gas tax. The pay state and local taxes for their local police fire and court (since when are federal courts poor ppl's court?).

Public power grid??? Isn't the grid owned by private concerns that charge USER FEES?

Then why do you want more from the rich? Sounds like everything should be covered.

If company A is charging $30 for a month supply of drug Z while my current company is charging $45 then I have be allowed to change without a hassle or penalty for it to work.
So Health Care is among the big issues for Americans, as is gasoline. What if I told you could have 100% FREE Health Care and a stable price of $2.00 a gallon gasoline. Would you allow socialist programs to do that?

....so you're a big government socialist who wants to raise taxes on half of the population and take food out of the mouths of the poorest Americans. Solid plan.

WHY DO YOU POST LIES?

Why shouldn't the uber wealthy pay more? The used to pay a top rate near 90% and did just fine. They should pay more becuz they benefit more. They use this country's infrastructure, military and courts to generate their wealth. And their manipulations are what created the debt, it is time they start paying back the money they robbed from the fed and the treasury. The poor smucks in ghettoland didn't run up a $15 trillion debt, it was the a**holes you defend day after day.

HowTF do the poor "use" the court system? They might be dragged into it by others but they rarely "use" it. The court system exists to enforce contracts. The poor do not write contracts. And how do poor people without cars use the roads? If they use buses or bicycles, they place much less wear and tear on the roads than so thge rest of us.

I'll pay your "born under the American flag" tax when I have the same property rights as a middle class or rich American has - the right to buy from a willing seller a home that I can afford, and the right to a free market in which government does not exact a regulatory tax which redistributes my income upward to homeowners.
