So the little twerp made his appearance and, instead of being arrested and held hostage in a blindfold for 444 days (my suggestion), was permitted instead to make himself look ridiculous in front of a hostile Columbia Univeristy audience, led by Columbia President Bollinger, who rhetorically flayed the pint-sized Hitleroid within an inch of his life.
Welcome to a free country, pal. Don't let the door hit you in the tail on the way out. Or if it does, deny that it happened.
Oh -- and when we need comic relief again, we'll give you a call.
I always chuckle when I hear Jay Leno call him "Ah-ma-nut-job"..."It takes a village to raise an idiot" - anon.
And it only takes one idiot to raze a village.

Yeledaf, you are absolutely correct, Ahmadinejad does have some Jewish friends, quite a few in fact.
Neturei Karta International
Press Release
NEW YORK, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, spokesman of Neturei Karta International, issued the following statement on the eve of the group's meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
"It is always our pleasure to visit with President Ahmadinejad. This will be the third such meeting, in addition to our many visits to Iran in the past. We have each time emphasized to the Iranian leadership that, despite media hysteria and the statements of some misinformed Jews, we have found the Iranian people and their leaders to be friendly and respectful.
"Likewise, although we as Jews are not to be involved in politics, (According to Jewish law, Jewish people are required to be loyal citizens to the countries wherein they reside), We have found the Iranian President to be a deeply religious man, dedicated to a peaceful world, based on mutual respect, fairness and dialogue.
"Judaism seeks peace. Unfortunately, there are some Jews today, influenced by the barely century old, philosophy of Zionism, who feel that the proper Jewish response to enemies, be they real or fantasized, is aggression and calls for violence and unfortunately attempts to drag other nations down the path of war.
"It is sad that so few have actually attempted to speak to the Iranian President or seek the true opinion of Iranian Jewry who live in peace and practice their faith throughout that nation. We have met this man who has demonstrated time and again that he is sincerely interested in the well being of Iran's Jewish community and has deep respect for world Jewry and their Torah faith, The Zionist attempt to socially isolate this man and his people is immoral and disastrous.
"Zionism is antithetical to Torah beliefs. It believes in creating our own sovereign entity which is expressly forbidden due to the Divine decree of exile. This ideology leads to aggression against nations and is incarnated in the State of 'Israel.' This State continually oppresses other people in the name of Judaism and the entire Jewish people. This movement has exacerbated anti Semitism throughout the world. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad understands this distinction between traditional Judaism and Zionist distortion.
"We view our approach to Iran as a model for all Jews and all mankind. The Torah is the Almighty's blueprint of mercy and justice for all creation. We have followed this modal in our dealings with the Iranian President and found in him an individual dedicated to these same ideals. There is much to be gained by talking and listening and everything to be lost by raising the rhetoric in the direction of war. The grave tragedy of our era is the inordinate power garnered by Zionism, whose acceptance of force as the only means to reconcile conflicts, has influenced some to abandon Torah fundamentals. We hope and pray that they too will adopt the traditional Jewish approach of dialogue, respect and reconciliation.
"War is a horrible thing. The dark clouds of a future conflict are now on the horizon in the Middle East. Torah Jewry hopes and prays that this may yet be averted."
In conclusion says rabbi Weiss, "Out of great respect to the Iranian Nation and their leadership we proudly welcome the Honorable President Ahmadinejad to New York, WELCOME!"
Sooo . . . other than making US academia and corporate press look like jack@sses behaving rudely to international leaders . . . do you figure the "Who Can Be The Biggest RedNeck" routine did much good for US or anyone else?

Oh, yes. I think so.
If nothing else, domestic supporters of Iranian holocaust denial and anti-semitism have been flushed out and show their true colors.

Website launched by New York-based group calls for boycott of Neturei Karta Jews who attended Holocaust denial conference in Tehran last month
Jewish groups in New York launched a campaign over the weekend against members of the fringe Neturei Karta sect who attended the Holocaust denial conference host by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran last month.
Holocaust Conference
Neturei Karta: Iranians making logical claim / Neta Sela
Haredi Jews who attended Holocaust conference in Tehran express support for Ahmadinejad's ideas. According to their representative in Jerusalem: Iran's goal isn't to exterminate Israel, but to take action against Zionism. Holocaust survivor and former chief rabbi of Israel, Rav Israel Lau outraged: This is something intelligence can't tolerate
Members of New York's Jewish community have been called upon to sever all contact with the "traitors," to ban them from synagogues, refuse to give them employment and bar them from entering Jewish-owned shops.
A mass protest will be held on Sunday outside the offices of Neturei Karta in the Monsey neighborhood of the city.
"Neturei Karta crackpots are traitors to the Jews for helping Iranian Hitler-imitator Ahmadinejad who is planning to wipe Israel off the map with nuclear weapons," read a statement posted on the website.
Collaborating with the killers of Jews'
"Now in response 'Operation Screwball' has been initiated to help wreck & ruin these self-haters, and Jewish traitors out of Monsey. I am sure Iran will welcome them with open arms" the statement continued.
"'Operation Screwball' will legally bring to the attention of the Orthodox Jewish community that a group exists in their midst, claiming to represent them, that collaborates with the killers of Jews in direct violation of every precept in the Torah!
"Orthodox Rabbis from across the spectrum has condemned this evil group who are religious fakers. We will also bring to the attention of Neturei Karta that the days during which their antics went undisturbed have come to an abrupt end," it concluded.

I say grab him while he is waltzing around in NYC, arrest him, charge him with all his crimes (terrorism, funding of terror organization, conspiracy to murder US troops), send him to Guantanamo and cut off his balls (if he has any).
This guy is a disgrace. How can we have terrorists and individuals responsible for arming Iraqi terrorists , saying publicaly he is going to destroy Israel, saying the US will get a "surprise" in October, and for all his contributions to the murder of US troops - walking freely within our country??
Did anybody catch the part where he said that he is for peace around the world (yada yada yada) but that he could get along with any country except for South Africa and "the zionist nation." He totally contracted himself from a few minutes earlier when he said he didn't have anything against Jews. I will say though, the guy is a better speaker than Bush. He looked totally relaxed, unrehearsed, and genuine.....BUT....we all know he's got an agenda and he's a nut job!! Interesting though. I wonder where this is going.
