It's common knowledge Japanese cars are made better, last longer and get great gas mileage.
What.."faux" outrage that he's not driving some GM model ?
That the U.S. Commerce Secretary, whose very job it is to promote U.S. business, decides to send U.S. Taxpayer money to a Japanese company should be outrageous.
Many Japanese cars are made in the U.S., dude, and put U.S. citizens to work. Are you suggesting that he should only be allowed to promote U.S. commerce? I ask because most of the money is in international trade. And finally, what he does with his own money is his business.
From what I read on politico this morning, this sounds pretty serious (and I don't mean the part about the Japanese car. Lexus is owned by Toyota, and I know Toyotas are made in Tennessee and Kentucky, don't know for sure about Lexus). They said they have almost ruled out alcohol or drugs, but they're still waiting on a blood test. But if that is indeed the case, he must have some sort of undiagnosed medical condition and that should truly be considered. I mean, just from reading the story on Politico, I thought that there was no way this could have happened if he was not under e influence of anything. It just didnt add up
