That others are "O.K." with something is irrelevant. Our rights are not based upon the idea of everyone being "O.K." with them.
There are negative aspects to our rights but that beats the alternative.
I could be mad as hell about the person moving down the street but there would be nothing I could do about it. Some people were upset at the black family moving in down the street.
Did the black family do anything or were people upset because they were a black family moving in down the street? No comparison between a murderous terrorist group and existing while black....at least there shouldn't be.

I'm going to guess that those who are picking up trash never murdered anyone. Leaders of unions have had people murdered. Do we curtail their right to free speech and equal access?
If you as an individual want to protest this (I thought the cotton ball idea was great) that is your free speech right. The government has no standing to do that though.

Wow, can't believe you used that as a comparison... Nothing alike...

I find your assuming that no black family ever does anything to cause trouble offensive. I have a friend that was working at a convenience store and she was raped by a black man. We lived in a neighborhood that had the government come in and buy homes for many blacks who were paying about $80 a month for a five bedroom split level when the rest of us were paying the regular price. People started moving out immediately. We were babes in the woods and didn't realize we needed to move too. We had the hope that the mixed neighborhood would work. My daughter was beat up by three black children her own age just because she was white. Or maybe I should say they tried to beat her up. She was holding her own when I discovered them and put a stop to it. All she had done was go up the street to play with them and they thought beating her up was fun.
Our home was brick with black trim. My husband went to get the paper one morning and someone had used chalk on our front door. He washed it off and would never tell me what it said. I was at home alone one night and someone tried to get in by knocking against the door. Luckily it held and I called the police. Every person we knew in our neighborhood had been robbed. There were seven murders in one year within a mile of where we lived. I don't know about terrorist but the time we were trying to sell our home was a pretty terrible time. I couldn't let my children outside without watching them all the time. Don't sing black praises to me. I have been there with no malice and been treated badly.
I haven't even mentioned the blockbusters who would say to some of my neighbors, "Why don't you sell? I have a friend that wants your house."
We took a $9000 loss on our house in order to move our children to a more safe environment. When I see a change in the attitude of black people, I will change my opinion of them. My opinion is that they are very selfish people that do not want to be equal to others; they want to rule over whites. They don't want to join in the community; they want to take over the community. I have no guilt about these feelings; I have reason to feel this way.
I had never met a black person when I graduated high school, so any opinion I have was caused by the actions of the black people I was around. I wish them well, but as far as I am concerned, they are on their own and their future is up to them. We tried to be their friends, but they did not want to be friends with us. They just wanted us to leave what had been an upper middle class neighborhood before they started moving in.
So save your holier then thou attitude toward the KKK which started in order to keep white women from being raped and murdered. And by the way that is still happening in America today. Black people need to clean up their own act before they start pointing their fingers at anyone else.

No reasonable person could have come to the conclusion you just typed based off Lucario’s post. Lucario asked a direct and precise question that requires no reading between the lines or critical think skills. You have decided to be outraged because of your past experiences not because of an assumption that was never made. Your opinion towards black people is just that your opinion. We can care less if you change your attitude or opinion of us. I live life by treating people like they deserve to be treated and not by stereotyping…
I don't care what they did. If they call themselves the KKK I'm against them.
Which is understandable.

And I noticed you didn't address my question.
You do not get to set the parameters about who will be denied their rights. You have your reasons to disallow some and others have their reasons to deny others. It's why the government can not deny any.
No it's not revisionism!!!!....it's sheer stupidity!!!!
Maybe the ignorant believe that movies are real life!!!
The Birth of a Nation
The film was a commercial success, but was highly controversial owing to its portrayal of African American men (played by white actors in blackface) as unintelligent and sexually aggressive towards white women, and the portrayal of the Ku Klux Klan (whose original founding is dramatized) as a heroic force.[3][4] T

You are a sick, disgusting person. How's that for holier than thou?
