So are we. The trend of "Crony Capitalism", the close alliance and cooperation of Big Government with Big Business is disturbing and is leading to the erosion of our freedoms, on this point it would seem that the left and right agree. The right supports true free market capitalism, with limited government control and regulation. We are firm believers in laissez-faire free enterprise, this is what built America and made it great. However, to demonize all large companies because they make a profit, as the left often does, is distorted logic. Without profit there is no incentive, and without incentive companies vanish, and with them so do the jobs that they once provided. It is not capitalism and corporations that are at fault, it is the fault of those that have distorted and corrupted them that are the culprits.

I mean who do these conservatives respect? They see enemies everywhere, but who are their allies? How did they come to know their ideas cannot possibly be improved?
I'd say loo0kig at your post prove whar you cvlai for your idelogy. One only has to listen to obama speech to hear the new evl empire is the american people. His enemiies list makes Nixon look like a lover. The leader who has divided american has no president.

I don't think you could make yourself look more ridiculous if you tried. What an asinine post.

I find it most amusing when children think that the GOP leadership is really against big government and that the Dem leadership isn't in bed with big business.

TSA, homeland security.......GE, big health insurers writing the new HC reform laws.....

BWAH HAH HAH HAH.............the blind complaining that the blind aren't seeing the truth.

It is not because they are liberal, it is for the reason that their liberalism defines them and guides everything they say and do that makes them idiots.

And if you are so in love with your favorite propaganda fixes that you lose all curiosity, it is an intellectual death sentence
i.e. if we don't listen to who you listen to.

If you want people to listen to you, don't bring the Taliban into the discourse. You only look ignorant

Frankly, I like talking to moderate conservatives, because they challenge my ideas, and I think their viewpoints are quite valid in many cases. However, the far right is something else again. I just don't see where they are trying to go.
That's the difference between us, we know exactly where the far left wants to go

No, but it does strongly apply to conservatives who are stupid for being vehemently against legalizing marijuana.

I mean who do these conservatives respect?
Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Beck, Nugent and a bucketful of other minor chickenhawks who'll say anything negative about the president.

They see enemies everywhere,
They particularly hate their fellow Americans.

but who are their allies?
Only like-minded RWNJs. Everyone else is a suspected commie/socialist/foreigner.

Quote:

Because it's SO much easier to act out of fear and hatred than it is to think for oneself. They tune into hate radio to get their daily dose of fear and hate.

Good reading here.
