Yes, but this thread is about Obama, not Bush. Bush is out of office and there is nothing we can do about his wasted war. Obama is in office and is wasting our people and money on the same useless war. We can do something about Obama... vote him out.
He's also a murderer. He has expanded his powers to include murder of people he thinks are guilty. Never mind that they have not been tried or convicted. Obama has them killed.
What you'll never admit is that we should have been out of there in 2005. Instead, you waste your energy in trying to shift the blame for Bush's war to his successor. You Bush apologists are endlessly amusing, though.

That was Iraq. Revenge for Saddam threatening his dear old dad. Well, that and the fact that Cheney's Halliburton would suck up billions of taxpayer dollars in the process. Oh, and putting Iraq's oil production offline for years was a big plus for his Saudi pals, too. 9/11 was a convenient excuse to use in order to drum up public support. Even though none of the 9/11 hijackers was from Iraq and most were Saudis.
We were sold on Afghanistan as a campaign to free them from the Taliban. We should have been out shortly after their first "free" election that put Karzai in power back in 2004. But by then, Bush was far too involved with his invasion gone wrong in Iraq to any attention to his first war.

War was more sucessful ( and affordable) when we only had 50 men on the ground.
