Will Europe implode this weekend ? No, I don't think so. Remember, Greece has been on the "brink of catastrophe" for about 3 years now and they are still spending and borrowing.
And Greece has had a run on their banks in the past few days too.

i think the leaders of countries really want to be rulers of countries, and the liberals seem to be okay with that agenda-which is why they support technocrats and the failing european "union". i guess it is just a natural progression of support for "big government" over the will of the people. heck, even the head of the european council (von rompuy) wasn't elected by the people.

zero hedge had an interesting piece on taking away more citizen rights today:
Treaty Negotiated In Secret

The normally-reserved Yves Smith asks whether Obama should be impeached over it.

Democratic Senator Wyden – the head of the committee which is supposed to oversee it – is so furious about the lack of access that he has introduced legislation to force disclosure.

Republican House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa is so upset by it that he has leaked a document on his website to show what’s going on.

how can anyone argue that this is a good direction for citizens?

as yves smith said:
Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them.
