Obama doesn't care about blacks, because he knows that he will still get the majority of the black vote. Something is very wrong with this picture.

Thank you for posting, Mary. It's nice to see someone who can post just like an ordinary person and not get race involved. (negatively)

Jobs like mine ARE like being a slave. When the manager says "jump" you have to jump! If you work less than an 8 hour day, there are no breaks.

Which is the point why this thread is offensive. Yah, I know the OP was being sarcastic, that doesn't hide the racist remark behind it. I'm not the type that throws out that card whenever, I am tired of that card being overused but to say, even sarcastically, "hey, thanks a lot black people, hope you're happy" when what that MORON in the White House just chose to do, affects everyone! Race shouldn't have even been a factor in this discussion at all.

You can leave that job. No one is forcing you to stay there. I don't think the slaves had that option.

True and I did just that and true about the slaves but I am not nit-picking either.

Isn't it pretty obvious that businesses can not be successful by keeping the blue collar wages down either.

Actually, a tax restructure would do the trick quite nicely, but Herman Cain isn't running anymore. For that matter, he really didn't have a complete handle on it either. But, the tax rates and codes could be changed so that it would be beneficial for business to pay their employees a higher rate in order to keep their own taxes down. It would work, but until proven, it would also be political suicide.

With black unemployment close to 50% in some cities among blacks 18-30, you now have 800,000 more people to compete with for jobs.

These people have a reputation as hard workers.

I hope you think of this in November.

I know that you're going to say it's not race baiting, yadda, yadda, but coming from you, that's to be expected. So, tell me, in the past week or so, how many threads have you started with "Black" in the title? and then tell me why? Be honest.

Here's a fun one for you, I got shot at last week at a Car-b-que (car on fire), guess what color the shooter was?
What are you talking about there is no article linked by the OP (original poster)? He doesn't say negro.

As for Arizona here goes. Too easy. In fact there is NO state where the Black incarceration rate is less than whites.

Did you even read the link you posted? It's not really helping your case, plus, it's from 5 years ago and it's referencing data from almost 10 years ago. Plus, read the links that article references, specifically the racial disparity in sentencing.

and I'll ask you again,

I said incarceration rates, if folks want to argue why there is a disparity that is a separate topic. Do you think the data has changed much? If so on what basis?

You have no particular interest in black Americans one way or another.

By the way are you turning your back on your own people, by not taking their shortcomings to task?
Funny you bring up West Virginia, it has one of the highest poverty rates and lowest crime rates and guess what, it is mostly white.
