Many LEGAL immigrants feel slighted for having to wait and go through the process of immigration certain favored groups are allowed to enter illegally with impugnity. I had a treat this morning while I listened to two different talk stations simultaneously discuss the Obama immunity announcement and subsequent reporter flap.
The first station, 900 AM WURD out of Philly was incensed over Obama being so disrespected and being the ONLY president to be disrespected. LOL, OKAAAYYY... yeah, the host came across as pretty much of a tool but he's based in DC so thats to be expected. He was dead silent on whether he agreed with Obama or not and didn't comment on the statement itself, only the reporters behavior. Even Obama had a hard time defending his statement and then refused to.
The other station WPHT 1210 out of Philly discussed it with a guest and debated the issue in further detail. Chris Degall was the host and while he's a conservative he does make an effort to cover all sides of an issue and his guest criticized the reporter. Not so much for his views but for his lack of professionalism.
I can see it both ways. Yes, the reporter was unprofessional. But to say that only Mr. Obama has seen that kind of disrespect, for any reason, is laughable. And Mr. Obama has invited a certain questioning of his own professionalism by the way he conducts himself at times. If the press and other elected officials and citizens have begun to show him disrespect, maybe its his own fault. Instead of trying to point blame and make unfounded accusations, maybe he needs to clean up his act.
And Obama does have a certain rambling way of speaking that might confuse his audience and make them think he's done speaking or waiting for a response. When he gets lost reading from the teleprompter he speaks haltingly and goes silent trying to collect his thoughts. Maybe the reporter jumped the gun during one of those puzzled moments of the president.

He despises cheaters, as many people that actually obey the laws, do.

He is condemning the president's politically-motivated policy. He agrees with the government's lawful policy.

You do know that our country DOES allow immigration? You act like we have no policy at all.

So you support rounding up illegals and kicking them out? Hmmmm, who'd have thunk.

Also Romney didn't hire illegal aliens himself anyway. Rich people have others do the hiring for them, like contractors for example. Some may know that these contractors hire illegal aliens and some may not. I am sick of the stereotyping that rich people directly hire illegal aliens or that they always know that their contractors do.

Was that sad attempt of a putdown directed at me? If so you fail, badly, as usual, as I am neither ignorant, or a redneck.

Try again.

Besides, it's time Obama stop viewing himself as the annointed one. He's nothing but a mere human. He has proved he has no respect whatsoever for American citizens nor for legal immigrants. Why should those that he sneer at give him any respect?
