I would say they have a problem that needs to be fixed. That being said she should face charges as an example and an eye opener to others.
Well, maybe her wonderful friends should have made sure she got home safely.

OK - but that doesn't mean that she deserves jail time - jail will harden her and she won't come out better then she went in. Probation and alcohol education is the appropriate response in this case. It amazes me how much some people here want to lock her up for making a stupid mistake.
Remember - she already got shot - that isn't something that she is likely to forget. If anything - the homeowners have a claim for property damage - but any criminal charge beyond drunk in public? - no way.
She SHOULD sue the homeowners. I hope she gets hundreds of thousands out of it.

She went into their home. She is lucky to be alive. The homeowners don't owe her anything - but she may owe them.
