The Bourgeoisie are a permanent part of modern society. Germany, France, Britain, Italy, etc. have a Bourgeoisie. They are the majority and vary the volume of noise they make from time to time, but they're always there, and always will be. America is the world's staunch fortress of the Bourgeoisie. Currently, they haven't a name, but that doesn't mean their numbers are dwindling.
The Silent Majority was just another name during a different era. That group will always exist, and always have different names from time to time.
That goup is the Bourgeoisie, who believe in the Status Quo, resist any change, and virtually question nothing that is handed down to them from positions of authority. That group asks the question, "Why doesn't everyone strive to be like us?"
Actually, that last question is more often asked by the nouveau riche pseudo-bohemian yuppies. Also known as the deafening minority.
But don't let me interrupt your deconstruction of the little people.
Any disrespect for our culture is well deserved. Our culture is not very respectable. Our leaders worship greed, celebrity, power, and pride. What should we expect? Any culture that pampers the privileged and punishes the poor is despicable by definition.
The problem is we allow it. They are re-elected. So they think that If they can take a little then they will take a little more next time to where we are now. Which has taken years to reach. Now we are OMG ing it all. Well it is not to late we need to take control back. Put some fear into our leaders that they can loose their jobs.
We allow Judges to give pedophiles minuscule sentences then wonder why so many children are being attacked.
