Special interest and politician go together like a body snatcher and a pod.

Name a politician who hasn't done a favor for a special interest group and you will name a perennial election loser.

To bad mouth only the President on this issue without criticizing EVERY other politician out there shows a lack of intellectual integrity, in the humblest of opinions.

No, what you describe is bribery. Special interest has no need for monetary compensation.

A special interest is a person, group, or organization attempting to influence legislators or other public officials in favor of one particular interest or issue.

I think Obama would of been happy just being a Law proffessor.
I wish he had stuck with teaching law although he was never a professor, according to the school he lectured at. You do know the difference in the two jobs, don't you?

"EVERY other politican" is not president and did not take uni-lateral and illegal action to appease a special interest group.

There is a difference.

He certainly shows no apparent interest in the nation as a whole or bringing the nation together (one of his broken campaign promises).

Outside of declaring me to be racist, any thoughts?
What president isn't a special interest candidate, id like to know. Especially in modern times.....

What president is only interested in "his" agenda that he totally ignores the wishes of those that elected him? In any times. What president admits a proposed action is illegal yet goes ahead and unilaterally proceeds to take that action, just to garner what he thinks is political capital?

I have been around for a while and this president is the only one I can remember doing this and then bragging about it.
