So the union folks will get the shaft. One thing we know somebody will be it the union workers or the taxpayers and the union fatcats and the politicians will skate away unscathed.
I hope these folks aren't expecting healthcare from big bro when they retire because there aint gonna be any money to pay for it. Don't worry though the politicians will just kick the can on down the road and pretend all is well like usual.
FYI, politicians get to kick the can down the road due to voters who will vote for one party no matter what and are too stupid to hold their own party accountable. Those types of folks typically do things like whine continually for no good reason on internet message boards.
It doesn't matter who supports unions. The bottom line is that there's no money to pay for it, and to attempt to do so will only create additional economic hardship and strife.
Unions are going to have to agree to accept major changes in the pension plans for the good of all.
They will attempt to do it though. And it will be the evil rich taxpayers who the politicians will blame for not wanting to have their taxes raised. The gravy train is surely over for many. Like you have been saying in many posts hard times ahead for the old USofA.
