That's a good one. I doubt very much their marketing/advertising team would ever let them do that.
It's all about getting customers, not pushing them away.

The voice opinion because they are effected by legalities of doing business. Feel free to boycott but sooner or later you won't have much left to choose from if this is really "the issue" that determines your purchasing choices.

Oh, is he talking about their position against the gay marriage ban? I had not idea what he was referencing.

I think some folks are afraid that GM is going to sneak that magic powder that turns you gay into the Bisquick.

When it comes down to it, all your food is controlled by a handful of mega corporations.
You just can't boycott a brand anymore because most of those brands have been bought out by the "mother ship"

I think taking that stand is good for business.

JC Penney featured gay Dads in their advertising. Star Bucks came out in favor of same sex marriage. Major banks and auto companies advertise in gay publications.

People who are opposed to the LGBT community are alarmed. Let's face it, the LGBT community and its rights has become popular and mainstream. Those opposed to it, like the Westboro Baptist Church and the NOM (National Organization for Marriage) are becoming irrelevant.

This reminds me of an article one of my Conservative friends sent me. She kept sending me articles from right-wing blogs and the straw that broke the camel's back was one that said drinking soy milk was turning boys gay. We got into an argument but I am glad we did. We're still friends but she stopped sending those stupid articles. I wouldn't be surprised if some blogger writes an article saying that cheerios will make you gay lol.
