Supposedly, the dead guy was found with his pants down.

Good riddance.

The father deserves an award for saving not only his daughter but who knows how many other daughters.

The only regret that I have about the incident is that I wasn't there to watch. Anyone who hurts a child is my sworn enemy.

Absolutely. It was a good thing he did but I am sure at the time he was freaked out and scared to death. He didn't intend to kill him but he did. Now he has to help his daughter heal and hopefully forget about this. I hope she can cope with the help of her parents and family.

Hopefully the daughter will be given counseling to help her development. Some children who were victims of such crimes are scarred in ways that don't show themselves for many years. Am glad the guy is dead. Tax money won't be used to conduct a trial nor feed and protect him while in prison. That dad should get a cash reward for saving his daughter's life and saving taxpayers many thousands of dollars.

FINALLY, something to cheer about. If this had happened here in Cali he'd probably be in jail.

I'm glad he won't be charged. This family doesn't need any more heartache.

It isn't over yet. Charges are now in Grand Jury proceedings, and the man could be charged with a number of lesser offenses than murder. Or he could not be charged at all. The prosecutor will probably go with the grand jury findings, whatever they are.
