I find it disgusting that he didn't take responsibility for his offensive comments.
He just came on and acted like a big cry baby. I have no respect for the guy.
And enough about Juan Williams. So if Juan Williams is okay with the comment it makes it A-Okay, because he's Black and liberal? That's just dumb. Juan Williams works for Fox news people.
It would have been disgusting for him to kowtow just because some see racism in everything and thought he said something that he didn't.
Juan Williams was the person he was talking to so I think he would have a better idea of the thoughts being expressed but of course since he does not fall in line with your way of thinking you discard his commentary.
It is amazing how many of you speak of tolerance but as soon as someone does not agree with you there is a perceived ulterior motive.
And believe it or not, just because you are a minority you may have experienced racism but that does not make you an expert on what is and isn't racism. In fact it may sometimes be harder for you to discern it.
What O'Reilly said was offensive. I have a hard time understanding how anyone would not see how that could be taken as offensive. Whether O'Reilly is a racist can be argued, but his comments were offensive.

You thought what he said was offensive, that does not make it offensive.
Juan Williams did not find it offensive.
Sharpton did not find it offensive.
Could it be you are reading more into it than it was?
I don't really care whether Sharpton or Williams found it offensive.
Frankly, and IMO, if Sharpton of all people did not find it offensive, then, it only adds to my "comfort level" (my opinion) that the comment was not racist

Again, where did Al Sharpton say that he didn't find this offensive? He said that nothing said at their dinner together was offensive... and thet he would question O'Reilly on these comments...
Yeah I just finished watching the show. Sharpton said that he had not really listened to the tape so he could not really comment. He did note that from what he had heard about O'Reilly's comments he could understand how some people might find it offensive. He also pointed out that he assumed because Williams didn't attack O'Reilly on it that it must not have been offensive. He finished by stating something to the effect that he would hear the tape and get back to O'Reilly if it was offensive.
No, people like to read into things and twist it around to fit their agendas. Everyone likes to go after BillO because he has the number one rated cable talk show and it's on Fox and it drives all the lefties effing crazy because of it!! Personally I find him to be more moderate than anything (why do you think Steven Colbert likes him).
The energy expended on this crap could power a city. Jeez.
