So, do we really care what this borderline, mentally ill, whacked out psycho chick is doing to support her kids? Nope. She could get a regular job...but she is too entitled for that...she thinks she is special, and should not have to work like regular folks. She could get subsidized day care for the kids, but...Octo Mom does not want to work...except doing things like laying around in bed...whatever.
How delusional can one be about the sanctity of money in our current society?
How long can one continue to lie to oneself about such important things before Adult Mode kicks in, and eventually concede the obvious?
I believe that several mothers ITT offering condemnation have or will subject their children to much drudgery, depression, sadness, anxiety, and emptiness exclusively because they would never subject themselves to such things for the sake of their childrens future.
Money is everything in modern society. Everything. Embrace it or face the consequences of middle class "I wonder what [xyz high dollar activity] is like?" mediocrity; and worse, subject your kids to that.
"Octomom" is doing what she must in order to give her children the best shot at experiencing how "the other half live."
Or, more succinct, happiness.
Perhaps even more to the point: how many of you stayed in marriages longer than you wanted to for the sake of the families financial stability? A few I'd imagine? OK, now please differentiate that with pornography. I'll help: one is prostitution in private, the other in public. The former requiring cowardice and lack of self-respect and a man, the latter requiring at least physical self-confidence.

You are out of touch. While I am not condoning her lifestyle, what sort of "regular" job can a single mother get that supports 14 children?
Overweight women who- on those "special occasion" holidays where sex is an option- indulge with the lights off (for good reason), tend to be the most angry about this sort of thing. It's a projection of sexual insecurity.
It may not be a nice thing to say but if we're going to put the cards on the table and have a truly honest conversation, well...
