Stewart does this from time to time. My guess is he is just being a smart businessman, bringing conservatives into the fold, since demographically libs are a relatively small slice.
Anyway, I wonder how many of his viewers will admit 'yeah Jon's right on this one,' but fail to ask the obvious follow up question. Given the-insane-on-its-face nature of 'Fast & Furious' you've got to ask yourself, why was it conducted in the first place. Must have been some other rationale. Wonder what it was....Hmmmmm.
Always had a lot of respect for Jon Stewart for saying things mainstream media would not dare saying and exposing political BS regardless of party affiliation.
I was actually surprised Stewart( his writers anyway) went the distance and skewered Obama and Holder while actually doing a pretty decent job of maintaining non partisan middle ground. I was expecting a tepid faint hearted wrist slapping like usual but possibly the actions of the two were so aggregious that even the left's patience is wearing thin.
I did however, pick up on some of the nervous reluctance of the audience to fully appreciate the humor, I think they were uneasy at having the president ridiculed.. I don't think the jokes were going over their heads, thats not Stewarts Or Colbert's style to make their audience think too hard.
Stewart finally realized that Obama's a gold mine of comedy material. At least lets hope.
Remember, November is to be set aside as rodent
removal month.
American - I am rice
Democrats - Mad Sector
Republican - Crab line Up
If you add an "S" like you did with democrats, (otherwise it would've been "orat" which is lessy funny) you get "Replica buns", Pelicans Rub, and Bras cup line.
Why do you think Romney is going to win? What's his main selling point?
Yep. That's a game changing strategy right there, mitt.
P.S. That WAS A good slam. He made Obama look just like Bush. Because, hey, Obama did the exact same thing. The video of Obama talking smack and then, years later eating his own words? Priceless.
So he gets praise when he points out things you also have a problem with.
But the other three episodes of the week, when he plays clips of Fox being disingenuous hypocrites-- then Stewart is just some daffy comedian that doesn't deserve your attention... right?
