Funding for Osama's capture. Shrug. it took 10 years 2 wars and billions in waste. I am not sure nor can anyone be sure that it would have made any difference at all.
What we can be sure of is That Bill Clinton was offered Bin Laden on a silver platter and more than once.
We are sure that after 911 Bergar was caught stealing classified documents for his master. Why?
The point is their is blame to go around. Yes it happened on Bushes watch. The hi jackers came here on Clinton's watch.
It was Clinton's restructoring of our intellegence groups that prevented them from communicating with each other.
Many failures happened and bush isn't the majority owner. I am no GWB supporter by any stretch but fair is fair. Clinton and company dropped the ball and handed the game over to GWB after the winning grandslam was already hit and in the air.
Clinton was offered Bin Laden on a silver platter?

File that one under urban legends.

I don't blame any of the presidents. 911 was an unprecedented attack and the idea that either Bush or Clinton etc. could have put into place the tighter restrictions PRIOR to the event is ludicrous.

They would have been called every name in the book and torn apart by the opposing party as a power hungry facist.

It just a really wierd coincidence the the most blindly partisan posters around here seem to have it all figured out that it was the fault of a president from the other party.

It is really sad that Bush supporters are still blaming Clinton for 9/11, despite the fact that 9/11 happened under Bush's watch. Then after wasting 8 years, thousands of American lives, thousands more of civilian lives, and billions of dollars, it was the Obama that finally took out Osama.

Sorry, but the facts are in. A pervert and a radical Keynan Muslim socialist love this country more than the Texas patriot. After all, they have done a much better job at protecting America.

No ****, using intelligence which was gathered during the Bush years.. thats how it works.

Furthermore, Osama has NEVER been found guilty in court. Since when did you support killing people not guilty?

Would you have made a different choice?

And Obama supporters are still blaming Bush, for his failures? Why is one ok, and the other one not?

That`s pretty pathetic stuff you have there pgh. Giving Bush credit for killing Bin Laden who you apparently think had nothing to do with 9-11.

What a hypocrite.. You sit there and make excuses for Clinton not getting Osama, but then attack Bush..

Where the hell did I say Bin Laden had nothing to do with 9/11, and if you cant accept the fact that intelligence used to get Bin Laden was gathered during the Bush years, you have no credibility.

And when Bush did announce terrorist threat warnings he was ridiculed and accused of engaging in politics.

Like I said, if Bush would have frog marched all the 9/11 terrorists, and told the nation he just prevented the deaths of thousands, he would have been pilloried by the left. There is no winning with the whacked out partisan left.

Yes, I guess the facts are in now.

Democrats think it is better to kill someone than to waterboard them to get intel. Those country loving Dems think death is the better way to go. I guess that is evident in Obama's kill list.
