Yes, you don't have slaves, but you're reaping the benefits from the system that allowed slavery to become a way of life centuries ago.

Good for you. We never wanted your sympathy, we just want you to stay on your side of the fence.

I don't think that's true. Slavery goes back thousands of years and the last country to get rid of was an African country. Mauritania didn't even make slavery a crime until 2007. Slavery would have gone on alot longer without the Western world fighting the slave trade.

It is very hard, if not impossible, to be a happy person while believing that society is out to hurt you. Because the liberal view on race is that America is a racist society. So, the unhappy black person will gravitate to liberalism and liberalism will in turn make him more unhappy by reinforcing his view that he is a victim.

I would say our enslavement of Africans actually held this country back. It was no mere coincidence that the North won the Civil War due to the fact they had a superior economy.

"Free" labor can be quite expensive.

I also work hard and no one has ever given me anything as well. I have yet to see what you are seeing. Maybe I work a little bit harder and make a little bit more money than you and the ghetto you live in.
