This article makes a lot of good points, a lot of honesty about the state of the black undertow and that won't sit well with Democrat liberals who prefer to keep their slave black voters on the plantation.
I don't have the energy to type it all down. But consider this...
If all the statistics you have read and taught to believe are wrong.....
I use to wonder if black people were hotter in the sun than whites.
I always wanted to ask a black person this but never had the sack so to speak.
Then one day it hit me.
Even if I did ask a black person this question.
They could never answer it.
Because they have no idea how hot a white person feels in the sun.
This logic fits into a lot of what is discussed above.
The simple truth is unless your black you will never know what it is like to be black.
If you are black you will never know what it is like to be white.
Must be difficult living every day, worring about the racism behind every word, maybe it was your perception rather than their delivery. Over sensetive perhaps?
I would disagree. I have taken several vacations with my family as well and have definitely been to more places at age 19 than my friends and several people much older than me. My friends' responses when I described my trip? "Man, you're white."
Idk if you are trying to say that blacks are perceiving racism that doesn't exist, but in my experience, the racism is clear. My own friends don't believe that I have gone on more than 10 cruises. However, if I say I enjoy playing and watching basketball, I'm back to being black. And the endless jokes about swimming or fried chicken or watermelon...
A specific story: I was in downtown Orlando with a few friends, mostly white. On a Friday, Orlando has a lot going on on Orange, and there were several people walking around. Many blacks on corners outside of clubs, as well as Hispanics and Whites. A white friend, a Trini friend, and I went to find a restroom. When I asked a restaurant owner, they were closed. I walked a few steps thinking that they were. Turned around to see him let in a young white couple.
It's hard not to be racist. My suggestion to whites is to try and avoid these situations. Chances are you will lose simply because of political correctness. At the same time, blacks lose as well. My friends assumed that I had gotten a scholarship through affirmative action, when in reality I had outperformed many students, regardless of race.
Strange thing is, many black leaders (and whites as well) have tried to help out blacks. IMO an athlete that performed well in school is the best role model for young students. They will always be in the spotlight, and therefore be an excellent example of why one should get a good education. But the issue is that most of these leaders' acts go unnoticed. The only time we see them is if they are "inciting the fire" in some civil rights issue.
I always remember my friends saying, "Man I wish I was black. I would get so many benefits." I always reply that the benefits more often than not don't outweigh the costs...

^^^^^^^^^^This is SO meta I can't even think right now.
I see very little racism in this story but I also know that most people here won't read the link because of fear of the source so I guess I am a racist for posting it. Have a ball y'all calling me, the site, and the writer racists without reading the link. I find much for serious thought in the piece but then I am a white racist.
Still whining about the same issue Roy? Did someone call you a racist, did you do or say something to warrant it? Or is this simply the flavor of the week at right-wing central?
Just so you know, statistics, no matter the source, can be, and often are, misleading, to only consider the color of ones skin as some sort of possible cause for them is dishonest and suspect in having been intentional. Clue: crime is often higher among "'POOR" and that applies to all colors of poor people.
I did notice one piece of propaganda and it helps explain how some righties believe in a falsehood, especially if one of their favorite sources of "information" stated it:
[LEFT]Guilt-ridden whites vote for the advocates of government dependency, and anyone who does not will be labeled — you guessed it — a “racist.â€
A known Lie and meant to do nothing more than further the goals of the far right.

I tried to tell these people that, but that's just not as hip as an attack on ethnic minorities. I guess you and I need to check the trends more often. The bandwagon's weight capacity is positively maxing out

But what you don't understand is that the stuff like that blog entry appeals to racists, and what you are saying, particularly "Black Undertow" is stuff you would find in websites like this one: Stuff Black People Don't Like - SBPDL
Did I miss the memo where whites are this utopian race? In order to school blacks on how to be a race free of problems, shouldn't you be a member of a race........free of problems?
You are remarking about shades of skin. I think a very dark black person is quite beautiful and rare. Black is very beautiful and with a beautiful spirit inside is very valuable, more precious than diamonds and pearls. I don't understand why anyone would think that lighter skin is better. We are all beautiful.
Some just need a better spirit and live a more positive life.
that 'pie in the sky' everyone is beautiful crap plays nice on the internet page, but not IRL.

You know that quote was originally conceived by an idiot...
