NBC is legendary for their creative editing. This is nothing new.

Every news channel edits things. I'm not sure what you guys are whining about here except that you want to whine.

The prosecution used it. According to the story, "It wasn't noticed by (NBC News), it wasn't noticed by us, but it became obvious when it played in court,". They didn't vet their evidence. It's not exactly NBC's fault.

To summarize, the defense MAY use the interview that was shown by the prosecution and that MAY impact the appeal. That said, I'm guessing the testimony of all of this guy's accusers really means that it likely won't make any difference.

Serious, can't you pick something better to whine about.

You really think an appeals court would ever think of overturning that perv's conviction? 400 years isn't enuf.

Huh? How can it not be NBC's fault? It was their frickin' show and their frickin' interview.

Stop passing the blame onto someone else.

I don't think anything or care anything about it. Shoot the messenger much?

Must be a democrat. Again, always blaming someone else.

"It wasn't noticed by (NBC News), it wasn't noticed by us, but it became obvious when it played in court," Frederiksen told Reuters.

I do not believe them. They have too much of a history of doing things like this. I don't think it will matter in the end because the decision was so overwhelming but on a closer one it very well might have.

If NBC didn't notice it, their investigative journalism expertise is at the bottom of the septic tank.

But who didn't already know that?

It's too late for a "mistrial." The trial is already over. The issue will be a claim in an appeal.

The prosecutor was not REQUIRED to use that piece of evidence. See how that works? Prosecutors and defense attorneys are supposed to KNOW what's in the "evidence" they present. NBC had no part in the decision to play that video in court. NBC produced that tape for television, not a courtroom.

Is that like you blaming NBC rather than the prosecutor who CHOSE to play that tape to the jury, and whose responsibility it was to know what evidence he was presenting?
