This is not a topic for that, but it would explain why EPA suddenly changed its position.
Yes I am aware of agenda 21. So what?

They made an interpretation of the law, and a U.S. Appeals court ruled against them. It happens. It doesn't get the polluters off trhe hook.

Petitioners, various states and industry groups, challenge all these rules, arguing that they are based on improper constructions of the CAA (Clean Air Act) and are otherwise arbitrary and capricious. But for the reasons set forth below, we conclude: 1) the Endangerment Finding and Tailpipe Rule are neither arbitrary nor capricious; 2) EPA’s interpretation of the governing CAA provisions is unambiguously correct; and 3) no petitioner has standing to challenge the Timing and Tailoring Rules. We thus dismiss for lack of jurisdiction all petitions for review of the Timing and Tailoring Rules, and deny the remainder of the petitions.

I think there is a chance that you need to check some facts and figures to at least get even with this subject. Just this morning I heard it said that wind and solar provide about 2% of our power although they have been getting Obama's favoritism concerning government money since he was coronated. Just think, in 60 years they will, maybe, be up to 40%. What will we use till then?

Replacing coal as fuel with natural gas is not all that difficult. I would prefer we replace both with a nuclear fission based system with full fuel breeding and recycling. Thsie electrical generators should be owned and operated ny the Federal Energy Department to minimize costs and reduce the possibility of failure due to minimized maintainence as would be expected by the private sector.
OMG, you want electric power controlled by a federal government group to minimize costs. I guess you don't know much about how efficiently government does things like that.

Sorry, we're not that stupid.
You could stand to read up on Agenda 21 since you obviously know nothing about it and the plan being pushed by it. I feel so sorry for those who refuse to accept anything anybody tells them about that pile of pelosi but refuse to look for themselves.

And they tried to use that against small farmers who raise grass fed cows as the niche market is growing.
But facts prevailed that showed grass fed doesn't emit as much as the massive yards of corn fed.

And we all know that NCBA won't allow the EPA to rule where it will hurt them the most.

You do realize that Obama appointed a tree hugger to be the head of EPA so as to get what he wanted in the way of power control, I hope. Maybe you don't know about that, though.

NIXON’S VISION: Clean Air Act goal still elusive : Environment

Quote:
In the Vietnam War ear, Washington, D.C., had no problem agreeing on curbing smog. The Clean Air Act revamp had bipartisan support unheard of today. It had only one dissenting vote in the House of Representatives, unanimous approval in the Senate, and it was signed by President Richard M. Nixon.

Nixon created the EPA and embraced the Clean Air Act “This is the most important piece of legislation, in my opinion, dealing with the problem of clean air that we have this year and the most important in our history,” Nixon said at the bill signing ceremony. Earlier that same year, Nixon created the EPA, which enforces the act.
What has become of "The Party of Lincoln" ?

By all means, let's appoint a heavy industry insider so they can get away with murder like they have for the last 100 years.
