It's also very possible that Roberts did this because he's a lawyer and understand law.

Have you ever actually talked to any lawyers about this case? My brother is one and I've talked to several. Liberal or conservative, they all agreed that the SC should vote in favor of the mandate due to precedent.

Exactly. The poor still don't pay anything but get even more benefits on the backs of the middle class. Oh and the rich? They don't have insurance either. They can just pay out of pocket or if they do have insurance, only have a catastrophic plan.

Those groceries cost the same whether one makes 6 figures or 9000 a year.

That's the logic behind it. Personal responsibility. Socialism my a$$.
That "tax' penalty goes to the federal government's general fund, and gets spent on their special interest pork projects or redecorating their offices, it does not go to lessen the burden on the hospitals, doctors, patients or insurance company.

No big deal here.

Obama lied and got caught.

He sold this as NOT A TAX and then had his attorneys argue to the court it was a tax.

All planned to defraud the court and the people.

Heres the deal.

This has energized the majority who were and are against this.

Romney has raised millions since the ruling came down.

The base and independents are riled up and thanks to Roberts he just handed the Presidency over to Mitt Romney.

This was the best decision for those who oppose this as Romney is the automatic winner come November and will work to repeal and replace this disaster.

No one should be forced to buy something even to be forced to buy something they call a tax.

Fact is Obama lied and defrauded us all. ( read above how )

The base is fired up, donations are pouring in and Obama will be moving out of the WH come January.

Game, set match. We needed something like this to get people fired up and it has.

Remember, the dems were voted out in record numbers in 2010 because of this bill and will be the same this November with the ********* in chief leaving our WH.

Win win for anyone who opposed this crime on the American people.

It will be repealed and replace with something far better and wont be forced on you like this was.

Obama thinks he won a victory but the war has just started and he cannot win.

Seriously considering dropping my insurance. The next time I go to the doctor I'll say "send the bill to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC, 20500"

Are you saying this will not happen based on the HC law?
This was a long term ICU hospital where we had only so much capability, when a patient needed more in depth treatment or testing the patient was taken to a near by hospital by ambulance.

You are right and I did what I saw fit and for the best of the patient. I did not care one bit about anything other than that. I caught slack for it at first and this is why I remember it so well. You see the ambulance trip was on the hospitals tab and I better be right. I was given slack, that is, until they were able to test and find that it was sepsis which most times leads to death. In this case it was caught early enough. The reason I was given slack at first is because the symptom were minor? and not text book. The bean counters and pencil pushers will want textbook symptoms. So how long would I have to wait until it fits their definition of "in need of immediate care".

Its not hysteria, and decisions based on the pencil pushers and bean counters is already being done but with Obamacare it will get worse.

Will this patient be you in the future?

For those who never worked in a hospital, I will be DIRECT. You don't have a clue what you are talking about
