I don't like what has happened because I don't like more government control, but I will admit that I don't know what will happen. It sounds like it will be a huge mess while everyone tries to figure it out, but I don't know how so many of you claim to know that X,Y and Z will happen and then argue with someone else who thinks it will be A, B and C. This whole thing was passed by it being rammed through in the middle of the night and every so often I hear about some other weird thing that is included in this bill. Face it that we the people are still completely in the dark, they passed it first so we could find out what was in it(oh, gee thanks) and now still haven't let us know everything that is in it.
What part of the constitution did obama say was flawed and when did he say that. Link? or just histrionics?
No, not "histronics", but real actual recorded history.
It was in a radio interview and it was on the internet for you to listen to yourself.
I believe it was 2002 if I recall correctly.
I listened to it several times a couple of years ago and it was sad to hear.
Pretty much believes that the government can do what it wants.
It's still a surprising decision. Rush is exactly spot on with his comments, because no one would have expected Judge Roberts, conservative that he is, to decide the way he ended up today. A lot of people are still in shock over this. This is a very tragic decision (and, really, the second in a week) made by our Supreme Court.

As a realtor, you should know the implication on real estate gains though. That new 3.8% tax on gains.
I've been buying health insurance for years. So I can't see it that I'm being taxed from buying it now.
No, you'll just get the increase premiums. But no tax. Now, if you decide to downgrade your insurance and get a high deductible plan, you're out of luck. But honestly, do you like having the gov't mandate your behaviors?
Oh yeah, can't wait to sell my house now.
After all isn't everyone deserving of what I've invested?
Spread the wealth Baby!
BTW, the wealth being spread, surprise!, is yours!
For some the reality of this will come to roost in a shocking way, even with those that until that time thought it was a good idea.
But honestly, do you like having the gov't mandate your behaviors?
I have a mortgage, and I deduct the interest. If I decided to sell and start renting instead, my taxes will go up. Does this count as government mandating my behavior? I'd say not.
Remember Dems. Last time you claimed a health care victory, how many seats did you lose in the next elections? You better start calming your cheering and such.
So the Republicans won't have anything new to offer. Any hope to reduce health care costs by removing obstacles to a free health insurance market will be vehemently denied by well paid lobbyists representing the health care industry.
Republicans can only keep offering health care through bankruptcy. And maybe plenty of people would strongly agree that's precisely the way it ought to be. It's a means to keep the government from paying for medical care even more than it's doing now.
