And it is very black and white as to whom those fascists are. There is no grey area. Not a single Republican voted for the AHCA.

It wasn't cheaper when health insurance costs doubled. Y'all didn't care about it then. So, how exactly are you computing it to be much more expensive now? There's a reason why insurance companies spent over $100 million fighting health care reform, and you seem to really believe in those ads that they have been running.

Actually, they (the SCOTUS) were very clear that Congress CANNOT force or compel us as individuals to purchase health insurance, or anything else. I haven't read the entire decision yet, but in skimming Robert's majority decision, I fount a few key statements;

Quote:
The Framers gave Congress the power to regulate commerce, not to compel it, and for over 200 years both our decisions and Congress’s actions have reflected this understanding. There is no reason to depart from that understanding now.
Quote:
The proximity and degree of connection between the mandate and the subsequent commercial activity is too lacking to justify an exception of the sort urged by the Government. The individual mandate forces individuals into commerce precisely because they elected to refrain from commercial activity. Such a law cannot be sustained under a clause authorizing Congress to “regulate Commerce.â€
What the Supreme Court allowed is the penalty (tax) being levied on those who choose not to purchase insurance. The Court referred to Congress's ability to lay taxes to justify this tax, and found that it is within the power of Congress to do so.

Yes, Roberts decided to make a political move without being impartial as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court.

It's much more expensive now because Obamacare is requiring that insurance companies cover a LOT more. Those policies that only covered catastrophic events? They're gone. This IS a huge boon to health insurance companies and a loss for the everyday American.

Let me ask this to the board. If you're an employer, which would you do? Pay 5x the cost to offer health insurance to your employees or just pay the penalty and let the employee figure out where to get health insurance? The effect I see is that even less people will have health insurance from this and you just got a tax increase.
Fees & taxes from the Gov. are adding up. Soon you will have less than 1/2 your check as income. Uncle Sam takes everything.

This is not to mention the type of service to expect from all this.

Default The tax cliff got much steeper this week.

With the Obamacare ruling we get a tax increase, The immigration ruling will increase the costs that illegal immigrants bring to the states and will increase taxes. The DC court rulling this week allowing onerous regulations to prevent global warming will lead to higher energy costs, essentially a tax increase.

The Bush tax cuts are expiring, another tax increase. The payroll tax holiday ends 12/31, a tax increase. Elimination of several business deductions will result in costs being passed along to consumers, essentially another tax increase.

Wrong, Obamacare has undermined UHC. There will be no UHC in America's near future since Obamacare has set back UHC for decades.
