you are really harsh on that guy. if you want to share all of your worldly goods with irresponsible people, that's your deal. i saw enough socialism in southern california to last a lifetime since i worked for a medi-cal (medicaid) contracted health plan in the early 90s. it's only gotten worse since then due to the massive influx of illegals. who wants to share their wealth with others' kids? what he is saying is that seemingly every tax break introduced by congress seems to benefit adults with kids, some of whom pay little or NO income tax due to favorable treatment in the Tax Code. if it was the other way around, would those with kids want to share their wealth with those without kids? no, they'd be moaning about how expensive it is to raise their children. no tax system is perfect, but ours seems to be geared toward whichever way the politicians can generate the most votes with little regard for fairness.
