The r agenda is to do so, though.
Cut all social services for anyone who can't afford them; let kids suffer.
Hey, that's what their jebus would do.
Sick how you people continue to justify the taking the chance away from life as something as simply as a choice. Despicable.

If you were about choice, youd be appalled at what happened yesterday. We lost more choices yesterday.

And this did open up a can of worms. The government can now threaten us with buying something out of fear of a penalty (tax). They are now involved in our health...awesome.

Dimwitted democrats forget the purpose of the Constitution. Our founders wanted to put in place ways to LIMIT government power and oversight into our lives. Liberals have slowly but surely chipped away at the Constitution for years. This is a big blow to real freedom and real choice.

I do believe that an abortion is a heavy decision to make and that educating patients prior to their decision is important. I believe that if women are going to go for an abortion, it should be a completely imformed decision about what the procedure entails, any medical risks involved, and any lagging emotional risks involved. For many, this wouldn't change a thing. It may save some unborn babies, though.

Yes it is a heavy decision, but so is pregnancy and giving birth, especially to a child you are not emotionally or financially able to support. Therefore should we also make it mandtory to go into detail what pregnancy and childbirth entail and all of the medical risks involved, including birth defects and retardation and possible long term health problems and death for both the mother and child. And details of PPD and emotional risks of trying to raise a child you dont want or cant afford. Emotional risks from adoption and a study of the foster care and adoption system in our country. Are you at all familiar with our foster/adoption system? It might not change a thing for some women but it might increase the abortion rate.

But seriously to the OP you would tax a legal medical procedure. One that would most often save the taxpayers 10000000X what it will cost for medical expenses and providing for a child over the course of 18+ years. And what legal medical procedure would you tax next? Rehab, because people should'nt become addicted. Weight loss, because people shouldnt get fat. Lung cancer, because people shouldnt smoke. Birth control, because it kills any potential life? The possibilities are endless.

Are you referring to all those "dim-witted Democrats" and "liberals" on the Supreme Court who upheld the Constitution yesterday???

$5,000 isn't enough, IMO. Liberals, you opened the box, and now you're going to have to live with it.

I disagree. A tax should address a problem. If you believe that abortion violates the unborn's right to life, then a tax on abortion does not solve the problem.

The people celebrating the SCOTUS decision really should think of the long term consequences.
The long term consequences of upholding the Constitution????And what would they be?

You've had over 200 years to figure it out...what are they ??

REALLY!?

I know Repub/Cons hate education especially concerning history but maybe you'd better check out the date of the Constitution....
Certainly you are not suggesting that SCOTUS has a record of being error free when it comes to "Constitutionality" are you?

Nope, I never did but you would want to wiggle around the point , wouldn't you?

Nope, they make grevious errors like electing Bush to the presidency....which no Repug objected to..

But yesterday wasn't an error, they upheld the Constitution.

(But it was all a big scary CONSPIRACY!!!!) LOL!

Can you actually document that 40% are pro-abortion or should we just take that statement for the deliberately misleading LIE it appears to be?

The people whining about the SCOTUS decison really should learn the vast difference between choice and abortion before commenting on either.
