So first Romney goes to Florida to tell Gov. Rick Scott to shut up because the State's economy is improving.
This makes Pres. Obama look good and Romney look like a liar.

Now, Romney's folks don't like the fact that the Washington Post performed an independant investigation and came to the conclusion that Romney's company, Bain Capital, specialised in sending American jobs over seas.

Romneys Campaign folk then demand that the Washington Post retract the story.
Washington Post's reply was basically "kiss our ass". Yes those words in quotes are my own..

Now that the media has gotten hold of the story, they have asked Romney's folks for an explanation.
The Romney camp now refuses to even substantiate the meeting.

So, what gives Romney and his people the belief that they can bully or intimidate News organisations that they disagree with??...sounds like censorship to me.

The story posted by the Washington Post last week said, "Romney's financial company, Bain Capital, invested in a series of firms that specialized in relocating jobs done by American workers to new facilities in low-wage countries like China and India."

"A Washington Post examination of securities filings shows the extent of Bain's investment in firms that specialized in helping other companies move or expand operations overseas," the article added. "While Bain was not the largest player in the outsourcing field, the private equity firm was involved early on."

PressTV - Romney seeking retraction of Washington Post story

WASHINGTON, June 27 (UPI) -- The Washington Post will not retract its story on Bain Capital LLC's practice of outsourcing U.S. jobs, Politico reported Wednesday.

Citing filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the newspaper said Bain owned companies that pioneered moving work to call centers and factories overseas during the time Romney actively participated in running the company.

During his campaign for president, Romney has criticized outsourcing of U.S. jobs, and the Romney campaign had asked the Post to retract its story, arguing that the newspaper misread SEC filings and that the story's conclusions are inaccurate or incomplete, Politico reported.

Romney campaign press secretary Andrea Saul had no comment on what she called "an off-the-record, private meeting."

Meaning, we don't want more people aware of our attempts to intimidate the Washington Post.
