While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand was caught in the squeeze gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.
Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his role as our president.
The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Obama is a 'Post Turtle''. Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him, what a 'post turtle' was.

The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'. (Imagine a picture of a post with the turtle balanced on top here.)

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he's elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just WONDER what kind of dummy put him up there to begin with."

Best explanation I've heard yet. LOL
Fabulous description and explanation of Obama!!!! Thanks for posting.

2. Do both mom and dad have to work to make ends. Bad news, the marriage penalty will be back into effect - Higher taxes for double income families.

3. Child credit will expire from reducing your deduction from $1000.00 per child to only $500.00 per child.

Roll those changes up and a family filing as married with two children making $50,000, will see their taxes increase by basically $2,700

That is an extra $112.50 per paycheck or $225.00 MORE per month of your income that goes to taxes.

Actually yes they will. All you hear about is how tax breaks for the rich are going to expire but they are NOT telling you is that there are also tax breaks for the middle class that are also going to expire.

The Bush tax breaks (so called tax breaks for the rich only) will expire and capital gains taxes will go up and big. But think about it, the rich are NOT the only people who benefited. Retirees benefited and they depend on their investment to live day to day. Now their income will be reduced because they have to pay higher taxes.

Tax breaks for the middle class that are also going to expire and the middle class will pay more in taxes. I mention 3 of them. Can you afford to pay aprox $2,700.00 more a year in taxes. That is an extra $112.50 per paycheck or $225.00 MORE per month of your income that goes to taxes.

Obamacare and the expiration of middle class tax breaks (Obama will not stop this expiration), the middle class is in big trouble. The only way to stop your tax increases is to replace Obama.

And I repeat.

Anytime the government says they are going to raise taxes on the rich they inevitably and always raise taxes on the middle class.

What are you people babbling about ? These people were not poor before this. This is an expansion of medicaid that is now redefining poor but only for health insurance.

The POOR as defined by medicaid are still covered. And these "new poor" are only considered "poor" for medicaid, nothing else.

Some of you people need to stop and think.

There is only one way to stop higher taxes on the middle class and that is not voting for a president that thinks higher taxes is the answer.

By voting for a president (not Obama) that understands that raising taxes, takes money out of peoples pockets, spending decreases, businesses have to lay-off or go bankrupt, government revenue decreases, and due to loss in tax revenue taxes go even higher to make up the difference.

A president that understands that less government, less taxation is good for the economy and for job creation. Less taxes keeps more spending money in your pocket, businesses do better and to meet the demand of people wanting more product businesses will hire more people, government revenue increases because more people are working and spending, less strain on the economy and less government spending because people are working and the government is not supporting them.

If you got a grudge against the rich never do anything for spite, it WILL come back to bite you and in this presidency in the form of less freedom, higher taxes and still no job.

Indeed. Also a hard liner that refuses to see the evils of her own party. But to be fair about 80% of the poster on here are the same way.
Obama's Il. Selling Obama's seat? The Chicago way.
It's not a stretch to believe Obama twists arms to get what he wants. He did it to get the vote required to pass Obama care.
This is normal DC politics.
IMO people who support things like Obama care do so because they are not the ones paying for it. They are not impacted so it's a great idea.

The list of seven should have also included 'excise tax on medical equipment/devices'
Crutches, braces, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, portable oxygen, hospital type beds, catheders, and any other equipment you would purchase at a medical supply store.
This tax applies to everyone, no matter your income. 'Not one single dime increase'. ????
