Read *CNN.com Justice* for more.

After the 2001 incident re Sandusky/boy in the shower was reported to them, emails were sent back and forth between then-Penn president and other school officials...

noting that they had a problem with Sandusky but were going to handle it

"in a humane way" ()...humane for who???

CNN indicates these emails could point out even further cover-up actions of the school...no doubt more repulsive info to come in the following months.

Now:

TheAtlanticWire.com
reports that it appears J Paterno was a "major" factor in the cover-up...

Stay tuned for more posts of their vile and offensive behaviors...

JoePa ran Penn State. Of course he was a big part of the cover up. If Penn Staters weren't so caught up in idol worship they'd admit it and move on. The other idiots will hopefully serve some jail time.

If the NCAA wasn't run by gutless wonders who have no problem pimping young boys for $$$ Penn State would be banned from intercollegiate athletics for at least 5 years

Well for Penn, admitting it = NO doubt of MORE charges against them etc. But of course they deserve it...

I've been saying it all along, athletics (big time athletics) has the uncanny ability to corrupt people's values. Probably people like the PSU president and Joe Pa are normal folks, good people, and would have reacted in an appropriate way to the likes of Sandusky if they sold paper sack for a living--or if they were ordinary laborers at the wharf or factory. Yet because big time athletics corrupts and corrupts absolutely, they tried to find a way out of the Sandusky mess. They were thinking of their own arses and for the arse of Penn State athletics.

I agree with the poster who said PSU should be banned from athletics for five years. I think the behavior of the powers that be over there should warrant a death penalty for PSU athletics. They should be banned from competition forever. I furthermore agree that NCAA officials are gutless wonders who kowtown to Americans' unbridled love for big time athletics.
