I'll add to this as I get pissed off about other things but as I see it right now...

1) Troops in Iraq get redeployed either to the borders to stop the influx of foreign fighters, or get sent to Afghanistan where they should have been in the first place.

2) No one responded to this in the other area, but Credit Reporting gets a MAJOR overhaul. ONE credit bureau that is government regulated. You have FULL access to your information and can ALWAYS access your score when you wish without penalty. Creditors would be REQUIRED to report paid accounts as quickly as they report delinquent accounts with no phone calls required to do so and MAJOR accountability if a phone call is required.

3) Increase the working day to 9 hours a day and work only 4 days a week. Tired of this crap. Like the Brit in the other thread said, we are overworked. This will be my answer.

I'll come up with more, but these are the primary planks of the VAFury Administration...

"Overworked" You are kidding, aren't you ?

Personally, I don't how I would act if I didn't have a 60 + hour workweek -

Maybe a tad more relaxed??? If you're a realtor, feel free to voluntarily work 60 hour weeks if that's what you want. Primary business is on the weekend anyway...

I wholly support the 4 day workweek.

People here talk about many things that are "killing America" - spending most of our lives working (and commuting to work) is probably the most likely.

We drastically need to slow our lives down, turn away from the technology, and spend a little more time with each other.

More relaxed? I don't think so - I absolutely love my job - and have for some 40 years!!

Actually - I'm the Broker - I'm responsible for 900 agents. My "primary business" is 7 days a week

1) Why have the troops there at all? Sure, we all follow that "freedom fries and lies" is all bs. As is the "but THEY will come here." Real deal is oil. If you want to end the Iraqicide, destroy the profit. Wreak the oil addiciton business.

2) Why not raise the Civil Court penalty (now capped at token $1000) for improper reporting by creditors? The lawyers will then be unleashed to destroy those companies that make bad faith or bogus reports.

3) Maybe get the corporate work day to shift by tax methods? That would reduce the stress loads on intrastructure, reduce workers' daily work related time by at least 10 to 20%, and save massive amounts of energy (for example, millions of folks parked in daily traffic jams, both morning and evening). So put a "stupid MBA/CEO" tax on corps that require 8/9 am to 5 pm days, and give the money as tax breaks to the businesses that do not require their employees to face this mass stupidity.

All a means to a similar end.

I say three-day workweek: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The rest of the time people just walk around looking at things and thinking good thoughts about what they see.

If that's your concept of life outside of work it's sort of sad.
