You seem to support the Limbaugh view that all dictionaries and encyclopedias are wrong when he doesn't agree with them, and that you or some of the people you quoted have your own definitions.
Well I will continue to place my trust and confidence in the likes of Random House and Merriam-Webster's dictionaries rather than the Right-Wing Whackjob versions.

Seems to me we have a choice of having a democratically elected representative government that serves the will and need of our entire population or we have representation limited to those with the most wealth and power. Those with the wealth to buy political power have obviously (bank bailouts, unlimited military spending, selective tax relief) purchased their representation with money they extorted from the rest of the population by monopoly control of the markets involving energy, food and finance. The right wing considers this the proper way things should be organized and have created a government that provides and protects the privileged.

I would prefer a real representative democracy where everyone was represented and government was immune to being owned and controlled by wealth. We need an economy free of any form of market control where real competition allows supply and demand to control prices. We need a business climate where skill is rewarded and compulsive gamblers are allowed to go broke no matter how big or important they think they are. We need more regulation of big business and far less for small and start up businesses. Ironically this economic conservatism is considered extremely left wing.

We have a government that protects the hand that feeds and owns it because big wealth never takes any real risk to either its money or privilege. It is cheaper for wealth to corrupt government than to actually invest in new technology that might threaten their existing economic base. They also oppose workers organizing because it equalizes the economic power between the elite owners and the far more numerous individual workers. As we have effectively one BIG BUSINESS that colludes for its own benefit we also need ONE BIG UNION to provide effective opposing economic and political power.

This is why I am a PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL and damn proud of it.

and you seem to think that right wing has a DEFINED defination

you would think being a fly-boy you would know that saying.." on the left had you have this, and on the right hand you have this"

left/right is a way of showing a DIFFERENCE...democrats are rightwing compared to liberals

the FACT is that marxism, nazism, fascism, socialism, liberalism , and communism all came from the progressive movement..all are anti-capitalist...,,all are about big government( the government is smarter than the individual)..you CANT DESPUTE IT

Here is what independent Bernie Sanders and progressive democrats are working against.
Today's republican has a fundamental fear of democracy - because it means the "unworthy" lower economic classes have a vote. This is seen as too much power for the "undeserving" and points up the view of millionaires who without representative govt and the lower class vote see themselves as being in charge - govt under their control. This also falls in line with the teachings of Ayn Rand and her view of the "superior animal" (meaning rich) ruling the herd. No wonder highly prosperous people embrace this view of things - and some Republicans have brazenly and openly stated their support for it.
The big money infiltrating our govt is exactly what Republicans want, and explains why they oppose all attempts at regulation.
This explains the ongoing Republican legislative positions and what they have been working to achieve over the last 30 years. Since things have progressed so far toward corporate control, they now see the real possibility of destroying the representative govt they despise.
This article explains a bit about Rand and some of the names in right-wing media, organizations, and our current government who embrace her philosophy and are working to bring her vision to reality. For the concerned curious, there is plenty more info out there, but this explains today's republican party and the rhetoric of its corporate media stars to a T.

More repub obstructionism this week. Strange how they complain about Obama and dems not creating jobs, while at the same time blocking jobs bills. Looks like an agenda to me.
Will Mitch McConnell's scheme to destroy the Obama presidency work? Probably not if Americans are informed about what repubs are up to - but we can no longer depend on the corporate-owned "news" media to do that.
