You're actually right on the money. Either you trust the government to make decisions for you or you don't. Either you believe the government is more efficient and effective than the market or you don't. The answer is property rights. However, there are some gray areas, i.e. abortion.

Gray areas? Sounds more like waffling. As in, there are universal principles of property rights that apply to everything...except for stuff that I don't like...

No, I was saying that you can't claim that there are universal principles, and then go about creating a list of exceptions to the universal principles.

I didn't claim that there are exceptions, only gray areas.
