Not afraid of anything, I enjoy target practicing and knowing I can shoot the bullseye gives great satisfaction. It's the left that makes people think we're paranoid.
What I am paranoid about is the government will take honest people's guns while the gang's have many!!!
PREACH. Amen. That's what I keep telling these sensitive pansy *******s, their logic always included "is we let people have guns everyone will kill eachother. If that's the case tell me why London has a similar population to NYC, less strict gun laws and less murders. Same with Canada, etc. I always say to them, we all possess items that can be weapons but don't use them as such. In a restaurant does everyone kill eachother because they have a fork and knif in their hands?
Continue to stay vigilant Shepherd, be armed and safe!
Gun laws are too loose now. We need to tighten up on gun laws, especially these CCW permit laws. If you want to get a driver's license in any state in the United States, you must prove, through testing, that you know the traffic laws and that you can safely operate a motor vehicle. I do not understand why the same logic is not applied to guns. If you want to carry a firearm upon public right-of-way then you should have to take a test that shows that you can safely and accurately fire a gun and that you know the laws on when and when not you can legally use a gun. Only after you do that should you be issued a permit to carry a gun in public.
The court shall require proof that the applicant has demonstrated competence with a handgun and the applicant may demonstrate such competence by one of the following, but no applicant shall be required to submit to any additional demonstration of competence:

Completing any National Rifle Association firearms safety or training course;
Completing any firearms safety or training course or class available to the general public offered by a law-enforcement agency, junior college, college, or private or public institution or organization or firearms training school utilizing instructors certified by the National Rifle Association or the Department of Criminal Justice Services;
Completing any law-enforcement firearms safety or training course or class offered for security guards, investigators, special deputies, or any division or subdivision of law enforcement or security enforcement;
Presenting evidence of equivalent experience with a firearm through participation in organized shooting competition or current military service or proof of an honorable discharge from any branch of the armed services;
Obtaining or previously having held a license to carry a firearm in this Commonwealth or a locality thereof, unless such license has been revoked for cause;
Completing any firearms training or safety course or class, including an electronic, video, or on-line course, conducted by a state-certified or National Rifle Association-certified firearms instructor;
Completing any governmental police agency firearms training course and qualifying to carry a firearm in the course of normal police duties; or
Completing any other firearms training which the court deems adequate.
A photocopy of a certificate of completion of any of the courses or classes; an affidavit from the instructor, school, club, organization, or group that conducted or taught such course or class attesting to the completion of the course or class by the applicant; or a copy of any document which shows completion of the course or class or evidences participation in firearms competition shall constitute evidence of qualification under this subsection.
There was someone on here yesterday touting the importance of loosening up the gun control laws I wonder what he thinks now? First of all, where did this kid get the gun?? If it was at home then shame on the parents for not locking this gun up better. If they did have one and insisted on being one of these folks who want gun control eased up on..what do you think now? If this child got the gun on the streets then the local law enforcement people do need to pump up their gun control procedures so this doesn't happen any longer. It has become far too easy for people in general to obtain guns and far too easy for teens to find their parents guns or get one on the streets. Do something people so these unnecessary killings will stop!!! Stop worrying so much about OBAMACARE and what he is and isn't doing..get this gun situation under control.
Why was the 16 yr old shooter a legal gun owner? I highly doubt it.
Perhaps if "god" were a better parent he wouldn't have shown favor of one of his children over another avoiding the first case of fratricide caused by creating a sibling rivalry where non had existed.
1Adam knew his wife Eve intimately, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain. She said, "I have had a male child with the LORD's help."[26] 2Then she also gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel became a shepherd of a flock, but Cain cultivated the land. 3In the course of time Cain presented some of the land's produce as an offering to the LORD. 4And Abel also presented [an offering][27] — some of the firstborn of his flock and their fat portions.[28] The Lord had regard for Abel and his offering, 5but He did not have regard for Cain and his offering. Cain was furious, and he was downcast.[29] 6Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you furious? And why are you downcast?[30] 7If you do right, won't you be accepted? But if you do not do right, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must master it." 8Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field."[31] And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
"citizens" are always way more important than "ghetto thugs"... or children!
And I'm guessing you also frequent the "racial" threads a lot, don'tcha...?
You better believe they are better, I will take a ''law abiding citizen'' over a ghetto thug any day of the week. In my eyes, ghetto thugs aren't even human, they are the scum of the earth, who chose a life of crime, and take advantage of people who lack the ability to defend themselves. They are one reason I carry a gun 24/7. You sir are a fool!
Got crime?.... solution: buy more guns.
That pesky Guvmint bugging ’ya?.... a well-armed militia, etc..
Problems with the neighbors, landlord, boyfriend, ’illegals’, whatever?.... start ”packing”.
School violence, lax parenting, unruly kids.... ditto (and more is better)!
Which always begs the question: what is it that gun nuts are always so afraid of (feeling weak, powerless, unmanly, etc.?) that makes ’em so obsessed with the dam things, especially as the answer to everything...!?
Get it through your thick skull and do a little research, Crimes are not committed by law abiding gun carriers, they are committed by people/criminals who obtained the gun illegally and are probably prohibited from owning one anyway and could give a crap less about the laws. So you would choose to take guns away from law abiding citizens leaving them defensless and leave them in the hands of the criminal, which is exactly what will happen. Of course,this makes perfect sense. You anti gunnersrs are unbelievable!
"What kind of upbringing rears this type of child?"
I would suggest looking up Adam and Eve.
I don't think you have to go that far back.
