It looks like Zimmerman wants preferential treatment once again. It isn't like judges never make any opinionated comments in court rooms. First he wanted to take this stand without being cross examined, now he is upset because the judge commented on his credibility and the fact that his wife lied. If everyone could change judges just because they don't like them, most trials would take twenty years. What a tool.
oh lord....

The evidence released Thursday includes witness-statement summaries from co-workers. They described Zimmerman as a consummate professional who was exceedingly pleasant and didn’t fly off the handle, even when someone cut off the lock he had used to make sure no one moved a special ergonomic chair from his desk. An ex-girlfriend described him as someone who sometimes wanted to drive into a lake and was prone to road rage, but she said he had plenty of black friends and was the “last person” she would expect to get into the kind of confrontation that led to Trayvon’s death.
The statements said Zimmerman had been beaten as a child by his mother, was sometimes suicidal, and that two weeks after the killing he tried to buy more guns because he feared for his life.
One memo from prosecutors mention that Zimmerman went to his interviews with police accompanied by a friend who is a federal air marshal.
Another report, which appears to refer to the same person, details an interview with one of Zimmerman’s closest friends, a former Seminole County Sheriff’s deputy. The former deputy went to the scene the night of the shooting, put Zimmerman up for more than a month after the killing, and accompanied him to his interviews with police. He trained Zimmerman on how to use a gun, adding that he “wasn’t a very good shot at first,” but improved.
The friend, whose name was blacked out in the report, told state investigators that Zimmerman was frugal, not very streetwise, and had a childhood marked by an abusive mother and a father who looked the other way when his son was beaten. Zimmerman, he said, had been estranged from his family until Trayvon’s shooting.
On the report detailing the friend’s interview, his current occupation is covered in black ink.
“I’m intrigued by this person at the scene that night. Putting two and two together, he is the air marshal who accompanied him to the interview,” said Natalie Jackson, one of the lawyers for the slain teen’s parents. “I would ask the question of whether he knew former police Chief Bill Lee, because they both worked at the sheriff’s department.”
Amazing that Z thinks the Judge is bias against him. George was just misunderstood, and was probably feeling hurt that the Judge didn't try to console him while he and his wife defrauded the Court at the bail hearing. Every single piece of evidence gathered to revike Zimmerman's first bail indicated exactly what the Judge said in response.
Personally, I think Lester may be the perfect Judge. He's not afraid to speak his mind and tell it like it is. That's the perfect situation for Zimmerman in a court case that has lots of circumstantial evidence and a series of scenarios that could quickly become distracting.
So now, poor George has another "reasonable fear", that the Court doesn't like him.
I think he should appreciate Lester as the Judge. He's probably the Judge that would be the fairest to the evidence, in spite of the fact that hardly anyone believes or likes this guy.
Of course Natalie Jackson, a Team Trayvon lawyer wonders whether gz's air marshall friend knew former police Chief Bill Lee, because they both worked at the sheriff’s department. The racist conspiracy to coverup for gz grows wider.
I'm almost starting to feel sorry for Serino. He reports that Martin said tm wasn't the voice yelling help, while Martin claims that account is false; he says he's pressured to arrest gz by fellow cops who are friends of Martin; alleges that those cops leaked info to the media; he concludes that gz didn't have racial motivations; did all he could to break gz in the interrogations and failed.
No wonder he's walking a beat on night shift. Can an early retirement or very long vacation be far off.
The interrogation did open holes, and allowed for future questions. Some of the subsequent answers have added to the list of contradictions, and will be an integral part of the case.

SANFORD — While publicly saying one thing — that they did not have enough evidence to arrest George Zimmerman — Sanford police did essentially the opposite: filing paperwork saying they had enough to charge him with manslaughter.
It's something the department kept secret for two months, according to documents recently released by the special prosecutor in the case.
Hardly any discussion of this interesting behind the scenes series of events.
I agree. Sometimes people are arrested months later. Unfortunately, the Sanford Police had a shady past and the Martin family felt as if their son's death was being ignored by the authorities.
I would like those who keep saying the prosecutor was wrong to read this article written by an attorney who was an Assistance Public Defender.

?With regard to the Trayvon Martin case, the notion that Florida’s Stand Your Ground law prohibited the prosecution of George Zimmerman is fundamentally false. “Stand Your Ground” in no way prevents a prosecution from being initiated against an accused."

You can probably find someone, somewhere who says SYG PROHIBITS or PREVENTS a prosecution. What I've seen is along the line of the state didn't have sufficient evidence to justify an arrest or murder 2 charge. It's more like the state can prosecute whoever they want.

Yep, all it takes is to bypass the grand jury and you can charge anyone with anything.
