Many schools ask (they use the SS # to track records), but you can certainly refuse to provide it. Most schools have a waiver form in that case and then assign your kid an arbitrary number.

couple points:

- the social security administration is completely satisfied that obama has a legitimate SS#. see taitz v astrue

- daniels already testified to her SS# belief in a ballot challenge (georgia). the judge was not impressed.

- there is no requirement for the POTUS to have a SS#. she's arguing eligibility on a point that has nothing to do with eligibility.
So a person 87 years old got a SSN for the first time? Sure!

Not when my kids went to school starting in 1989, much later than Obama. In fact, when Obama was in kindergarten, I was still in high school, so I can vouch that you didn't need them in 1966.

not in 1977. that's about the same time i received mine (age 10, so i could get a paper route) and i'd been attending public school since kindergarten.

a quick web search shows that many school districts ask for a copy of a child's SS card but it is not mandatory. as mentioned above a waiver is offered to parents that opt not to.

it gets better.

we know what the actual number is thanks to orly taitz incompetently and illegally posting it multiple times without redaction. the number does not appear in the social security administrations death index. so it is susan daniels belief that obama has stolen the SS# of a 122 year old person (...... possibly a member of the undead).

When I was working in my 20s (had my card since my early teens) I found out the guy sitting next to me had the next sequential social security number after mine.

it's nothing more than the most basic of typo errors in the original filing. the social security administration is satisfied that the POTUS has a legitimate SS# ( just ask orly taitz ).

these are zip codes. No # in a SS # is 5 digits.
