Remember when President Obama said even though he was personally for Gay Marriage, the states should decide. Shocking since 1) Over 30 states had some kind of anti-gay marriage law on the books at the time he said it; 2) States Rights is a conservative position; 3) No one in the lib media blinked and instead spun the story that he was the first Gay president.

Well, what makes the above even more bizarre:

"Today, the Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List), a national pro-life organization, criticized the Obama Administration for awarding $395,000 in federal funds to Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis, bypassing the will of the Tennessee legislature and Governor."

Obama Bypasses Tennessee Government to Fund Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis | Caffeinated Thoughts

I could point to other things like Arizona, for example.

So gay people, let me ask you a question, "Why does President Obama only take a states rights position when it works against you?"

The states "should be able to decide" as soon as DOMA is repealed and/or declared unconstitutional.

That way, even the states filled with small minded people will have to recognize the marriages of others formed in other states, even if they want to take the completely symbolic and empty gesture of NOT allowing gay marriages to be PERFORMED in state.

It's the only way "letting the states decide" will make any sense whatsoever in the context of marriage laws.
