Why? What I said is true. Her opinion made the front page of the news. Do your opinions do that?

She hasn't really done anything. But being related to a well known celebrity makes her voice a little more important than mine or your's.

No it doesn't make her opinion more "relevant" since if her son wasn't a famous movie actor nobody would care in the first place!

Well here we are talking about her on the internet. Several other internet boards are probably discussing her opinions as well.

I don't think many people do the same when you or I form opinions about social issues. If you do not care about her opinions, then why post in the thread?

because I'm nozy & have nothing else to do? It doesn't surprise me that a old woman from Oklahoma doesn't like Obama, Gay marriage or Abortions though.

Default Brad Pitt’s Mom Is A Conservative. So Naturally, She’s Getting Death Threats.

Brad Pitt’s Mom Is A Conservative. So Naturally, She’s Getting Death Threats. | Chicks on the Right

From the article---

"Seriously – WTF is WRONG with liberals who refuse to accept that there are other people in the universe who do not agree with them?"

So Jane Pitt, mom to Brad, wrote a letter to the editor of her local paper in Missouri, in which she advocated for Mitt Romney. In it, she wrote, “Any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney’s opponent, Barack Hussein Obama – a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage. I hope all Christians give their vote prayerful consideration because voting is a sacred privilege and a serious responsibility.”

So because she DARED TO EXPRESS HER OPINION, and stated some things about Obama which are TOTALLY TRUE, she’s now getting death threats, she’s being called a c*nt by Brad Pitt fans on Twitter, and she’s basically been scared into silence. How’s that for liberal tolerance and compassion?

Oh, for crying out loud! Lots of people get death threats. No, I don't think it's right, no matter who does it, but it's not the poor conservatives who are singled out for death threats.
