Maybe it is just the case of Christie having heard all the BS about government workers (especialy the Teacher's UNION) and doesn't want to hear the stupidity any more as they rob the treasury.
Newsflash! Gov. Christie is a government worker! And he is eating NJ out of house and home!
Christie reminds me of those fat kids in school who were pushed around and bullied. Fast forward to Gov. Christie, he has got a big mouth while he is surrounded by body guards and he is going to get back at everyone who called him fat. I am sure you wouldn't hear a peep out of him if he were by himself. I hope to see a video of him demeaning a real man and get knocked on his big fat ass.
Sooner or later someone will take Christie up on his wise attitude.

Chris Christie was a DA. I don't think he'd back down but in case he doesn't want the VP job, I'd make him the US Ambassador to the UN.
That's the problem with people who make decisions based on how others look. Were you on that school bus yelling at that old lady?
