I going to break a long standing rule of not criticizing black folks on non-African American forums. So, here goes. The problem with black folks isn't not acting white, the problems paradoxically is too many black folk actually act like they actually are white folk. I say this because back in the day, I was taught that I couldn't act like white folks, I had to act and do better. Somewhere in the headiness of what seemed like the victories of the Civil Rights Movement that lesson got lost.
Dear brothers and sisters,
You can't be an unwed mother because you are not a white Holywood celebrity who makes millions of dollars per picture so that you can't afford nannies, house keepers, private schools and tutors for your kids. By the way, you also won't make the cover of Vogue, Vanity Fair or Cosmopolitan lauding how you can "have it all".
You can't owe your Baby Momma hundreds of thousands of dollars in back child support and be a Congressman, although we have made some significant inroads as corrupt politicians it still is a limited field of endeavor, the former is reserved for white folk.
You can't be like the Jewish, Italian and Irish mobsters, because you don't know how to keep a low profile and most importantly you don't own any planes or boats which means that you can't rise above the retail level even though Nickie Barnes, Frankie Lewis and Suge Knight came close.
You don't have as yet an Arnold Rothstein to teach you how to convert cash from criminal enterprises into legitimate commercial enterprises.
You can't go around committing even small crimes because as Virgil Tibbs (see Sydney Poitier) famously pointed out in "The Heat of the Night", "Momma there is white folk time and then there is colored folk time."
As a result you can't go around killing white people and expect not to get the death penalty, a life sentence is for the most part reserved for white folks who kill white folks (or black folks).
Also remember the wise words of my father, "If you commit a crime, make sure that you steal enough that you make more inside prison than you would outside of it." Then remember that you aren't Bernie Madoff and your friends don't have billions of dollars to steal from.
You can't drop out of school because your daddy doesn't own a corporation, or have old school ties that will get you into the door of some business (drug dealing excepted, see above). And even if you do graduate, you still don't have daddy to help you up the corporate ladder.
You can't owe the bank for your Chrysler 300 because of as the saying goes, you owe the bank $10,000 the bank owns you, but if you owe the bank $10,000,000,000 dollars you own the bank. Very few of you own $10,000,000,000.
You can't get mediocre grades, because white folks don't consider you a gentleman, so a gentleman's C just doesn't apply.
And No (this will be most pleasing to my conservative audience) you can't dress as you like because while white kids can dress any way they like, white folks consider the unorthodox fashions of white youth as part of a phase not a genetic imperfection. Yes I know white construction workers like Joe the Plumber have been showing the crack of their behinds for generations, but they are white, you are not.
You can't get angry, even when it is warranted because it is always taken as a sign of violent tendencies. Outward expressions of anger by white folks is just indignation, even blowing up a federal building is considered a righteous act of freedom (Muslims are you listening?)
So my young brothers and sisters, you are right to castigate black folk who act white, just keep in mind what it really means to act white.
PS - the above list isn't intended to be comprehensive but just a select few examples of how black folks try to act like white folks and really shouldn't.
Pure racial bigotry that wouldn't have stayed up 5 minutes if the racial groups were reversed.
When the double standard someday disappears, you'll find your freedom of speech severely diminished. Be careful what you ask for.
Obviously there are bad seeds in every population. Unfortunately, people seem to think that the majority of black people are bad seeds.
Minority crime rates, unemployment, and eductional issues, are a result of the welfare system. The way the system is setup to pay more for children to unwed mothers is locking them into a life of servitude to the system. Now we find that the poverty rate is actually worse then when the war on poverty began in the sixties. That alone tells us the system is flawed, broken, and getting worse.
The poor have been exploited to create the false impression that the DNC is the party of the poor, when they are just the party who wants the poor vote. Welfare for votes is really what it's all about.
Detecting parody isn't your strong suit.
Now if we could just get more non-persons of color to notice that.

Equality for everyone is the ultimate goal, not advantages. You are nothing more than a racist with a computer and connection. Your posts make people of every color shake their heads in wonder. In these times, that's saying something.

BTW, Shaft was a black dude who broke the exploitation stereotype. You looked up shaft and decided he was just a Huggy Bear and Movin on up. I give props to the likes of Poitier, Jim Brown, Eartha Kitt for furthering the gains made in the entertainment industry.
But, this isn't the ultimate point I was trying to make. I'm trying to clue you in that most people aren't racists so why don't you take a break fron being the champion of a perceived hatred that doesn't exist.
I find it interesting that you are bothered by me expressing my opinions yet I have yet to see you make the same demands on the multitude of racist comments posted on a daily basis on C-D conidering that you are so "bothered" by racism and hatred.
Listen up. I may be younger than you are but I will take you to school on the knowledge that you do not know about Black Americans. I will not tolerate your ageist comments either. I know who I am and I am very knowledgeable about my history so don't bother trying to pull the "I'm older than you so I know more" nonsense.

Do you even know where the word SLAVE comes from? Blacks have nothing on the Polish, Czechs, and Yugoslavians. Let us know when your entire race is called slave. Those links you gave me did not answer my question liar. You said if a black person had gone on a shooting rampage white people call all black people mass shooters. A black person did go on one a couple years and and you did not back this claim up liar. You posted links in which debating the FACT that blacks commit crime at 10X the level of whites. Why do you have a problem with people talking about these FACTS? Would you prefer it to be swept under the rug and the violence continue just so your people won't look bad when you DESERVE to look bad. you reap what you sow. When you murder, rape, rob, and steal at 10X the rate of everyone else for 40+ years, everyone else would be crazy not to bring it up from time to time that there is a major problem with your particular group. There is a major problem in American society with black violence and has been sense the 70s. That is a FACT.

You have no right to pass judgement on a white racist because you, yourself are a black racist. Keep lying to yourself, it won't change the facts. I too am going to break a long standing rule, of never daring to criticize "black folk" by saying; how about just concentrating on acting like human beings and taking the colour out of the equation??? Sorry to make this so simplistic for you, but it really is.....
