why do people 'debate' homosexuality when it's an unchosen trait?

You mean, like the way you're debating it now?

Yes, really yes. To prove my point in the extreme, I'll note that most men in prison that have sex are not gay.

Now that says absolutely nothing concerning those who are born gay.

Having sex with a man doesn't make one homosexual, therefore the prison example is highly irrelevant.

Oh, so some guys like to take breaks from getting in bed with hairy guys by getting in bed with beautiful women. But it doesn't explain why some other guys want to have sex only with other guys. I have yet to see people who insist gays choose to be that way explain why gays would want to choose to be that way.

You had a relationship with both sexes and made a conscious decision to be a heterosexual?

I didn't choose to be heterosexual...I just am.

How many times did you have to get naked with a member of the same sex to determine which way you should go?

No, I never had a sexual relationship with a man.

I just chose to talk with a woman, spend time with her, get to know her, act on impulses with her, marry her, and have children with her.

All choices....

cool to know you don't know how you got to the point where you are at... *shrugs*
