I've shopped for enough condos to promise you property taxes for you and I are nothing. I posted one for you.

When was the last time you were in NYC?

And I own enough properties to know otherwise. Ok, not in NYC, but a book, Trump Strategies, by George Ross, (fabulous book btw), Donald Trumps lawyer also disagrees with you.

Hey what can I tell you, I live in the area, I have shopped for them, I showed you a $2 million condo with 3k a year in taxes. I'm not sure what more I can do to show you, you are wrong.

300 sq. feet is extremely livable for a single person in NYC or other dense and expensive cities. That's 15x15 or 10x30, which is larger than many studios in cities. And it's certainly larger than the closets many people in NYC rent.

I think it is a great idea. For one person it is enough space and every one I know that lives in NYC isn't home that much anyway.

Perhaps in cow country, but not in a city.

Heck even in Chicago, which is cheap by New York standards you won't find that. The price people are willing to pay to live near the action.

Hope your not an accountant or math teacher.....

but I agree, 300 sf at a good price is very doable for a single person in Manhattan.
