Seems Muslims have tried to destroy them once before and also burned the books at the library of Alexandria. They weren't able to destroy the pyramids due to lack of technology, something they may have today.
The Library at Alexandria wasn't destroyed by the Muslims. The faith didn't even exist at the time. It was destroyed by early Coptic Christians. The contents were destroyed, but the structure remained for another 100 years at least.

As to the pyramids.... well, good luck at busting them up. The structures have withstood 3,500 years plundering. Most of modern Cairo's foundations came from rock cut for the pyramids.

I think you should start taking FrontPage Magazine with a small grain or two of salt, sailor.

The Library at Alexandria was destroyed multiple times including the last time by muslim invaders. Library of Alexandria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As to the pyramids, today's technology makes it easy to destroy the pyramids and Sphinx. Plant enough explosives in the tunnels and rooms inside and they go "boom". There's also arial bombings they can do via jets from the Egyptian military.

Your point?
Someday you may have to take a side. I don't think your hippie values apply to these folks.

What did I say that's untrue.
Why do I have to take sides. Others do it for all of us.

I'm going to continue to point out that the US does all of the things you blame others for doing.
It's so much more convenient for some to point out the foibles/atrocities committed by others and neglect to note that the US does the same and more.
