They lie very loud and so some will believe anything the tea party tells them.
Those that lie are people like you, who run around telling us that $3.5T being spent, is somehow smaller than the $2.8T which was being spend under Bush. Maybe where you went to school they had "special" math..
Not sure why, but it still shocks me how difficult it is to have a political discussion with conservatives in the Fox News era. They don’t make cohesive, fact-based arguments, they just angrily regurgitate Fox talking points, regardless of how few facts they have backing them. And when that doesn’t work, they do the same thing, but louder.

We have not had a budget passed thru the senate since 0bama was elected, Reid wants to keep the emergency spending levels for as long as he can, and to hell with the debt we are all being forced to repay.
Keep in mind that the first budget the new democrat controlled congress passed was the one in 2008
Yes I understand that and you can argue about whether it should be attributed to Bush or Obama as there is certainly good arguments for both. Having said that Obama owns 2010 to the present and using 2009 as the baseline to compute spendin increases is complete BS.

An ironic trend in the forums names of you libs, analyze_this, factsplease, think4yoursel, etc... The funny thing is, there is no thinking, no analysis and no facts are present in your posts. It's sort of like naming yourself EnglishMajor and then spelling every other word wrong.
We do not need to watch Fox to see thru the lame and asinine assertion by the left, that 0bama is some kind of a spend thrift, when he spends over $3 trillion each year and has accumulated over $5 trillion in new debt.
We better stop worrying about who is to blame and do something.
That's something both parties should agree on.
No matter which person is elected (Romney or Obama) the deficit will continue to rise, but I'd love for spending to be under control and to begin reducing debt within 4-6 years. Once the debt is back under $10 trillion, we must enact a series of laws preventing over spending and allowing our debt to pile up to the level it is today. Although I'm liberal, I'll go with conservatives and say keep the taxes lower on corporations especially in the manufacturing field so they will begin/continue to expand their American operations.
It also would be nice if America wouldn't not be involved in a war for a while.

We need to remove Reid from the senate leadership, and start by passing a federal budget and a national tax policy that lasts more then a year.
