What makes you think it needs another government program to replace it?

Repealing, Not Replacing, Health Law Tops Republican Plan - Bloomberg
Isn't it 2014 before 0bamacare fully implements? so we have some time. However, you are correct, they will need to have something in place to ensure people's current policies don't suddenly expire, leaving them in the lurch.

BTW, this will be the 33rd time Reid will not allow it to come to a vote in the senate, so he is the one responsible for the "do nothing congress".

Your tax dollars at work:

Health Care Law Repeal Efforts By House GOP Cost Nearly $50 Million: CBS Report

While Republicans lambast the cost of implementing health care reform, a new report shows that their efforts to repeal the law have come at a major cost to taxpayers -- to the tune of nearly $50 million.

Incrementally it cost zero. There may be an opportunity cost, but to count the salaries is plain stupid. By that metric it cost several hundred million to get it passed, from inception to SCOTUS ruling.

33 shots, several budgets - all ignored because Reid finds them politically inconvenient.

No one will accuse the repugs of doing something for the country or its people. This is nothing but an attempt to grab power. They waste time and fail to do their job. They cost us millions and accomplish nothing and seem fine with that. I think the whole lot needs to be sent packing. time for 6 yr term limits for the senate , house and president.

GONE! Period!
That's nice. But you could try to preoccupy your brain just a bit with what should be done instead...

Do you realize that the state of health care before Obamacare is extremely unsustainable and will exponentially rise and gobble up increasingly huge percentages of GDP? Is that what you want instead?

This is my problem with conservatives. They want it GONE! Period! But they haven't actually gotten to the part about "what would we do instead?"
