U.S. House Republicans, united in opposition to President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, used to pledge to “repeal and replace” it.

Now, as they prepare to vote as soon as today to kill the law they call Obamacare -- their 33rd effort to undo all or parts of it -- Republican leaders have dropped the word “replace” from their promise.

They have no plan..they have never had one to begin with. They want status quo, a broken system where health costs and premiums rise exponentially with more profits for insurance companies and hospital CEOs.

Actually come to think of it, they do have a plan. Keep paying your premiums and if you happen to fall really sick, just die.

It's not repealed yet nor will it be. Harry Reid just closes his eyes if he doesn't like something - like a budget for example.

Real conservatives have NEVER used the word 'replace'. We want it gone, period, every single bit of it. We want absolutely nothing to do with it and most assuredly don't want the idiotic, pathetic, bloated fools in government to have their filthy hands on it.

GONE! Period!

Sure they have a plan and that is to put a cap on medical malpractice claims. The wrong amputated arm or leg is now worth $3.50.

The ACA is the republican plan for health care reform, or at least it was until the democrats wound up introducing and passing it. The current batch of R's have no plan B, and the tea party has run what once used to be the pragmatic republican party into the ground.

Do any of you think this even has the slightest chance to make it through the Senate ?
That's why I'm not even paying any mind to it after reading the headlines.

Sounds a lot like the fights between "real" Christians in the Religion forum. Historically speaking, "real" republicans were once the liberal party. What, then, makes an individual a "real" Republican vs. a heretic?

Of course not, and that wasn't the intent of yesterday's vote.

It's to get votes on record so you can vote OUT the bastids who want ObamCare.
