I agree. Being a loser is nothing to do with masculinity. Being a female loser should be no more accepted too.

The guy they use in the example just p****ed me off with practically everything he said.
"I don't want a job I don't like."
"I live off of mom and dad, but I am too grown-up to check in."

What a total immature turd.

I'd kick my son's ass all over the place before I let him turn into that nightmare.

No, they did NOT reverse the roles , they tried to blur the archaic crippling iron clad idiotic lines between the sexes....allowing PEOPLE to act like PEOPLE and not caricatures.

"""and that was the point when the emasculation of the American man began.

In advertising, in education structure, in social relationships, etc.

The king of the jungle forced to take a backseat to "I am woman hear me roar".

There are men who are responsible and take charge who were born out of that era, but by and large, they have been "wimpified". The males born in the 80's and 90's came after the feminist movement so they have become used to having a more passive role when dealing with females.""""

Ya, YOU loved the more aggressive "beat the crap out of 'em and keep them in line like we do the blacks" way of living!

"""Many of them prefer same sex relationships, """

No, just homosexuals.

""internet porn, video games and living at home because they don't have to "man-up" and relate to the world in a masculine way. Some are not prepared for it because society told them they didn't have to work so hard or take responsibility.
Never takes long in a thread on "poor little men" for a misogynist to come along and blame everything on women who wanted to be treated like humans.

But if they blame women then they don't have to ""work so hard or take responsibility""" for their failures and fear...

Geez Louise.

It's not the feminists. It's not technology.

It's the helicopter-coddling-build-fake-self-esteem dumbass parenting that has been going on for the last 20 years.

Look at the parents in the example. They LET HIM ACT LIKE THIS. And if they tried to pull away and he got mad...well, who set up those expectations?

Kids wouldn't go back home to live if their parents didn't set them up to be failures and if their parents didn't allow it.
Then he'd be forced to MAN UP and take whatever job it takes to pay the bills while he pays his dues.
It would force him to build character. It would teach him responsibility. This dbag couldn't even be responsible for his own scholarship.

You know? Like real adults do?

Ya, white GUYS had it made and screw everyone else....

Really, who even gives a care what some rag tag journalist or anyone else thinks about the state of young men nowdays? If they dont like it, they dont like it. Just go forth and do your thing. Dont let some lame rag shame you into conformity -- I dont advocate living at home with your parents forever, but if you enjoy hobbies or videogames or whatever and you're self sufficient without relying on anyone else, then keep doing it lol... 90% of these "journalists" and whining women who suddenly drone on about the "sorry state" of young men, could have given 2 sh*ts about the progress of those men before they themselves looked up and realized that that clock is ticking and they may never have a family, short of single motherhood, if there arent many quality men chasing them. Believe it or not, people are panicking now, simply because they realize that all the "rah rah go girl" mumbo jumbo doesnt bring real happiness, and they are getting too old to find relationships/marriage/have children. Ive spoken to enough professional women in real life to know this is exactly what is happening.

But Ive even told them, quit worrying about how you cant find a good enough 18-34 year old man for you, and go earn another degree, go get another raise, go start another business; do something other than worry about what other people (young men or otherwise) are doing with their lives...maybe then they'll find happiness.

How are you self-sufficient if you live with mommy and daddy and they pay all your bills while you wait for a job you deem worthy of you?

I got news for you if you are living with your parents YOU ARE NOT SELF SUFFICIENT

I actually feel sorry for young people with this attitude. You are afraid to experience any level of hardship or struggle. It's those hardships and struggles that make you a mature adult and mentally strong.

You're soft, and weak and that's what turning young women off from guys like this.

Problem with your theory. What if whatever job isn't happening? I was in that situation two yrs ago. I should be ashamed because I accepted a warm place to sleep and food everyday from my mother?
