I'm sure backed by Hillary's army of "rebels" and NATO airstrikes. Where have we seen this before? Oh yeah Libya. Look out Assad Hillary wants to shove a night stick up your butt.

"Beirut, Asharq Al-Awsat – In light of the noticeable development in the Free Syrian Army [FSA]’s military operations, not to mention the escalated pace of defections from the regular army’s forces, the FSA has announced that it is gearing up to take the fight to the al-Assad regime in Damascus. Speaking exclusively to Asharq Al-Awsat, FSA commander Colonel Riad al-Asaad revealed that “preparations for the battle of Damascus are underway and are in full swing, particularly as this operation – which will be the final and decisive confrontation with the regime – requires special preparations and arrangements”. He added “this has led to the battle being postponed so far; however once it starts it will be resolved quickly, within a matter of weeks.” The FSA commander also stressed that “with regards to today, you could say that the situation has changed. We are now able to take decisions at the right time, after the FSA seized weapons at depots affiliated to the regime, in addition to those present in the border regions.” However al-Asaad denied that the FSA had been given surface-to-air missiles enabling them to bring down regime helicopters.
Colonel al-Asaad refused to explicitly confirm or deny whether the FSA is currently present in Damascus, informing Asharq Al-Awsat that “our presence can be ascertained by the operations we carry out, in Damascus and the surrounding area, and a number of such operations were carried out in different locations across the capital, not far from the presidential palace.”

You're quite the fool for being certain NATO is going to start hitting Syrian targets.

Yup. Obama would love to have Assad's overthrow as a feather in his cap right before the election. But it won't be that easy. Iran's Revolutionary Guards have been supporting Assad and will continue to do so and IMO any hint of a NATO attack on Syria will have Hamas and Hezbollah launching everything they can at Israel to muddy the waters. This could be a mess coming up.

Doubt it. This is all planned out. Remember Obama caught whispering to Putin that he'll be able to help him out after the election? He basically said sorry Vlad but your only port the the med is going down but after the election she'll be back up and running again. What is Iran gonna do to NATA airstrikes? LOL. Israel would probably love for Hamas to let er loose so the can finally clean em all out.

Not to mention Russia's increasing arms supply to Assad. Obama's been chummy/submissive with Russia so this move strikes me as suspicious lest Obama's intention be to intentionally have Russia destroy our US troops.

Oops more propoganda.......

"The death toll in an attack by Syrian government forces on a village in the province of Hama on Thursday is more than 200, opposition activists said.

The Revolution Leadership Council of Hama told Reuters that most of the dead in the village of Tremseh were civilians. It said the village had been attacked by helicopter gunships and tanks, and that pro-government militia men then moved in and carried out execution-style killings.

There were few details on the attack, which was reported by the Local Coordination Committees activist group and the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights."

LOL. They must have made up the details.
